GSI: Grip Strength Index (Rated form worst to best on a scale form 1-10)
Brim Sstting recommendation
- 1-6 (OK adhesion) : Highly recommended to use brim
- 7-8 (Good adhesion) : Brim not needed, But if your print is particularly hard to print, use brim to improve adhesion. If only odd corners are lifting, use mouse ear pads on the corner
- 9-10 (Extremely Good adhesion) : Do Not Use Brim unless your part is extremely small or prone to warping; single-layer brim will be hard to clean off of the plate

I love the glacier plates, PLA adheres extremely well from 50-60C and this one does work exactly like all the others. However the sizing is slightly off for the A1 mini. The purge line that the printer writes at the beginning of the print overlaps the holes at the front which is pretty annoying. It functions just fine anyways but sometimes I have to clip the filament out of the holes. You can pull the plate forward a couple millimeters and it solves the issue, but if you pull it too far the printer will report that there's no plate.Overall I like the surface enough to keep using it, but a proper-sized revision would be a big improvement.

Works well, PLA sticks very well. The only issue is that the first of the two test lines printed by the A1 mini is in the punched out portion of the plate.

I have it for a few months and cannot go w/o it. warm soapy water to clean every 20-25hrs of print. I bought the two pack and swap side or plate when it need to be cleaned. Very pleased.

I have the cryogrip pro on my P1P, works flwlessly, so I thought the Pro Glacier would be close for both of my A1 mini. They are very slightly better than the original plates. Half of the time, my print would lift. Tried with different temperatures, cleaning with water, soap and a brush as recommended by the manufacturer. No difference. Wouldn't recommend the Glacier

It doesn't fit the mini build plate perfectly like the factory one.We'll see how durable they are.
