The blocks themselves are fine, however on both Amazon and Birchwood Casey’s website they state they are made in the USA which is the only reason I bought them over bags. Once they arrived they were in fact stamped with made in China. I expected to be supporting American workers instead of the Chinese government.

I like this rest. Good quality, lightweight & sturdy. I'm 6'3" and even when stacked, it isn't tall enough for me. I'm going to have to buy a second set to stack it 3 high.

I don’t use the stands as shooting bench rests, but to hold my firearm in place and immobile on the cleaning bench. This allows for a quick wipe down, disassembly, and inspection. If I’ve got a few long arms to clean, the stands keep them in a holding pattern for a convenient cleaning assembly line.

These rests are excellent because they are lighter weight than filled bags yet sturdy.The rests fit into each other without falling out and they are stackable.I can even set a cloth or small towel in the notch to allow rifle to slide on the front rest so energy can travel to my shoulder rather than gripping and raising up.

Purchased as thought would be easy to put in a bag . It is lighter and indeed the smaller one is seated inside the larger one. I would however prefer a sandbag.

This item is easy to store and carry, unlike all these bulky rests. It is very handy.But, you will NOT be able to zero your scope with this.The rifle is just held, but not tightly, and there is plenty of room for it move to lateraly as its shapewill not necessarily replicate your weapon's particular shapes.If you need a rest to clean your rifle or just lay it safely, this is a great deal.If what you need is a vise, or a shooting rest, forget it...
