So I removed them off of the key ring and I have screwed them on the side of my desk so that way I have all my bits ready at hand without having to Fumble around a keychain really great idea because I have several sets so when I need to go mobile I have this same setup so I can bring it with me

These are a game changer. Instead of hunting in my bag for a bit, they are attached to the outside in plain sight. The bits snap in with ease, and pulling the orange holder to release them works well. They are good quality

This bit holder key chain set comes in very handy. Keeping track of bit sets can be difficult. Also finding the one you need can be tricky. This is a very functional way to keep bits together and handy when needed. The build quality is excellent. Each holder spring locks the bits securely in place. The set of 12 has enough storage capacity for all the bits I may need on a project. Mostly, I use them for bits related to my mountain bikes. So far, these have worked great for me and I have been using them a lot in my shop. I also throw them in my tool bag as needed. Great way to stay organized.

My first build project, after acquiring a rechargeable impact driver, was large shed. Someone suggested that I try using Torx-head screws instead of nails to frame and skin it, and let me say the results were fantastic. I’m going to think twice about ever swinging a hammer in a project like that again... and the shed? Let’s just say it’s so solid that I will have long vacated the earth before that thing ever falls down.My only difficulty using the driver was managing the the bits. The various screws I used required different-sized driver bits, so I was always juggling (and often losing) them. It would have been great to have some kind of key-ring-on-a-carabiner-style holder for the bits to keep track of them and keep them at the ready. Well guess what? That’s exactly what this product from the Katerk Store is.This set of chucks, rings, and carabiners will keep captive up to 12, 1/4-inch, hex-bodied driver bits. Provided your bits feature the “capture” groove, the chucks will hold on to them securely. (Straight 1/4-inch hex bits aren’t retained very well and will slip out.)Overall, build quality is good and I find this a useful addition to my tool bag. I do wish the price point was lower. As nice as this is, thirty bucks is a lot to throw at a bit holder.

In general, I love carabiner bit organizers. It's a great concept, and makes storing bits so much easier. While these particular bit holders are better quality than the cheap multicolored sets you see on Amazon. They came up way short for me based on how high they are priced. The carabiner, rings and even the holders are lacking . The carabiner has a screw down lock that you have to undo each time to hook it on things which makes it inconvenient to quickly hook on and off loops. Plus the bigger issue is this locking nut sticks out, so the bit holders can't slide smoothly to the bottom when you go to clip or hang this on something. The little rings that attach the bit holders constantly snag on it and you have to jiggle or unhook them. If the carabiner was made of sturdier material, you would need have the locking nut and everything would slide smoothly. If these were 30% less expensive, they'd be 4 Star, but you can find better quality in your local big box store for less money. When I shop for these things on Amazon, I don't mind taking a small hit in quality sometimes as long as it is saving me some money.

Which is funny, because when I first saw devices such as these, I didn't understand them. Of course I understood how they worked, I just didn't understand why anyone would want them. most of my hex-shank bit-thingies come in blow-molded plastic cases, in which they fit very securely and nicely arranged in a set. I wasn't sure why I would want to remove them from those cases to put into these devices. I've discovered two reasons for wanting them.First, I realized that I have many bits that didn't come in a set, or otherwise didn't come in a nice case. Bits such as adapters for sockets, adapters for different sizes of sockets, magnetic extensions, flexible shafts, stepped drill bits, and so forth. All of these are handy bits, but they don't have a good place to be stored, so I would spend more time than I wanted to looking for them, which often required a trip to the garage (I have a tool bucket that goes with me in the house for handyman projects). I hook these devices on the outside of my tool bucket, with a commonly-used assortment of these homeless but needed bits, and they instantly become easier to find.Second, even though the rest of my bits might be in custom plastic cases, I have my favorites that I use more than others. And oddly, I can never seem to remember exactly what case those different favorite bits might be in. I typically open more than one case looking for the perfect bit. I have removed those favorite bits from their cases, and put them into these devices which, again, hang on the outside of my tool bucket, where they fall easily to hand. So, those are some justifications for these devices in general. As to these specific devices, I liked the different colors that they were available in, and I like the carabiners that came with them. I wouldn't trust my life to one of these carabiners, but then again, they weren't acquired for that purpose. They do just fine holding these devices on a bucket. I also like how these are all powder-coated in black. These particular devices function smoothly and hold the bits securely, and I think that they'll last a long time. I'm very pleased. Highly recommended.
