Works as expected. It is a little narrow by about 1.5 inches on each side for a 4Runner but to be fair, 4Runner isn’t listed in the description. Not a deal breaker though. I had the blow up gap filler before this and worked well but started leaking. Advantage though of this is you can still use the space as storage where with the blowup you can’t.

This thing is great! As you may know if you've gotten this far, its purpose is to fill the gap between the folded-down rear seats and the back of the front seats in an SUV. Otherwise, especially if you're tall like me, that end of the mattress or sleeping pad sags into that gap. Avoidable when awake, but if you happen to move in such a way that your head falls in there when you're sleeping, it's no fun.This apparatus closes that gap in a really clever way. There are adjustable straps that go around the front seats' headrests, and a really aggro piece of velcro all the way across that secures to the cloth back of the folded-down rear seats. I was really surprised at how solid it feels. Very happy with it.I have a 2019 Subaru Outback. If the place the rear of the thing is resting on is not some kind of fabric that the velcro can latch onto, I would imagine it might not work as well.

This is way overpriced and it actually doesn’t work that well. I’ve used it sleeping in the car and it’s more ore a hassle and restricts movement. 2 stars.

Very easy to setup and worked exactly as it promised. I was able to lay my entire body along the product and it felt very sturdy, so if you were just laying your head on it, it would provide more than enough support. I think it would be able to store items or hold a dog.The material is a very soft velvet like material, no odd smells.My main concern are the buckles and where they lay on the seat, right under the headrest. I feel like it could lead to some dimpling on the leather. Maybe, if I spent a little more time, I could arrange the buckle so it would be behind the seat and less visible if it caused dimples. However, I would have preferred a more rounded connector with less possibility of damaging the seat.For functionality, it works amazingly.

I have a 2021 Highlander with 2nd row captain's seats. I love to take it up into the mountains and I frequently sleep in it at the trailhead. When I fold those 2nd row seats flat, there's a big gap that makes sleeping in back an adventure. This shelf ends that problem. There's still a gap beyond the extent of the shelf,. If I had the regular seats in the second row, this gap would not be there. It is easily bridged by a scrap of paneling. All in all-I'm very happy with this arrangement.This plat also has another use. We have a large dog who rides in the back seats. The shelf bridges the gap between the seats and gives her a much better place to sit. I still have to use a restraint, but that's mostly to keep her from coming into the front seat and helping me drive.

Delivered right next day, the height you need to hang it is adjustable through the length of buckle. First step towards my sleeper conversion is successfully completed, cannot achieve without this great product!
