I got so frustrated setting this up. We read the instructions and couldn’t figure out how to set ringtones for different call buttons. We finally got one to change and still don’t know how we did that so we left it alone but on the other push alert necklace is just set to the standard annoying door bell sound. It is loud enough and has large buttons to push but I would recommend getting push buttons that actually light up in the dark. My grandpa can’t find his sometimes so we might be ordering a different one.

This alert works well, much to my chagrin. My wife has found a new way to annoy me. lol

We bought this for my mother-in-law who had just recently had an open heart surgery and there were times in the middle of the night she would ring the bell that we had originally given her and none of us heard it. We were so worried that something would happen to her in the middle of the night and we wouldn't be able to hear so we bought this and without a doubt this alarm will wake the dead. It is loud and obnoxious but in the scheme of things I'd rather be it Loud and obnoxious to be able to hear if she needed help Then not hear her Need help at all.

It is such a relief to have this set on hand and ready. We've been having issues with crime in our area and my mother who lives with me was feeling very nervous about it especially with her health as it is and the fact I'm not always in earshot, so I saw this online and thought this is the answer we're looking for. The volume levels are from one to ten, meaning there's always going to be that perfect level for you. And there's a decent selection of sounds both loud and abrasive to gentle but attention grabbing. I chose the "Under the Sea" tone for one room and a tune I'm unfamiliar with but enjoy for the other, each assigned its own button. I then placed the two buttons in the two spaces she is most likely to be, this way if she needs help, I know which room she's in and can get there a bit faster. They're working great so far and even though its a distance between the receiver and the clickers, it comes through clear as a bell. What an awesome product.

Simple plug in Life Alert system with 2 pagers and an array of chimes, tunes, volume's and zones. The 5 volume levels ensure adequate dB for even hearing impaired individuals. Most chimes and tones are acceptable, some may be annoying but you're sure to find one favorable regardless. Really like the specific pager being pressed is displayed on the receiver (ie #1 or 2) in the event you have 2 persons in the home each in possession of a transmitter to distinquish who is in need, or if one person utilizes a specfic tranmitter set at different locations. This receiver can support a multitude of transmitters but this package came with 2. You can also pair each unit with different chimes/alerts. We have a 2200 sq ft home and put the receiver centrally so the transmitter will still be within range if each one is on opposite ends of the house. But each transmitter comes with a lanyard to wear should you choose not to permanently secure it say like on a wall next to the bed. This entire unit is transportable for travelling and you need to nothing more once set up...simply plug it in. Every home should try and secure one of these if they have a loved one who is elderly, disabled or otherwise unable to maneuver about due to an illness or recovering from an temporary disabling accident. It can mean the difference between them feeling helpless and the caregiver being able to tackle other duties without having to stay in the immediate area knowing they can be easily summoned by the push of the button. Small price to pay for security.

We are caregivers for a our 89 y/o mom who lives with us and is mostly bed-ridden and this "Help Button" alert system is working great for us. It works like a wireless doorbell and actually includes instructions used for doorbells too. The receiver (sound producer) needs to be plugged into a wall electric outlet, the 2 help buttons are completely portable and come with lanyards. I have one attached to a grab bar on each side of the bed so she can summon us for help easily. Even though she has dementia it only took her two days to learn to use the help button instead of trying to call us with her frail voice or trying to ring a small bell with a handle we have. This is SO much better, it works great. The receiver has a LOT of different ring tones and can be adjusted for volume also. Each Help Button has it's own designated code number so it's possible to program a different ring tone for each one if desired. The instructions walk you thru programming the different ring tones and volume adjustments. We are very happy to have found this and I think mom likes getting the prompt attention she wasn't always getting before when we couldn't hear her.

This is a very nice device to have. I bought it for my aging grandmother as an emergency panic button that she can use to call for help. There are several sirens to toggle through and some sounds are a lot louder than others. Some are relaxing sounds which I don't get why they are there but i guess you don't always have to use it for emergency reasons. I like that each key can be programmed to a different sound or the same sound. So far my grandmother likes it and it's a great addition to the safety features we have in place for my grandmother. The only thing i didn't like about it is that the instructions are a bit tricky to understand but not impossible.
