Fit Flight is an innovative flight and shaft system. In most ordinary and common flight and shaft systems installation requires sliding fins into 4 narrow slots, and this old style method requires the use of many small parts for locked type flights and or unwanted holes in the flight itself making the flight more susceptible to falling off the shaft. Besides the fact that handling these small parts can be difficult or tedious, causing unnecessary stress and distraction to the player during practice or competition.
The Fit Flight system was developed by Cosmo Darts as a superior alternative to the old system, and to help players elevate their game!

Shaft diameters are not all the same.I should have double checked the diameter against my darts.

You risk breaking the shafts if you play on hard surfaces. At home my board is over carpeting so there's no problem with bounce-outs - which are going to happen with soft-tips. The bar where my league plays has hardwood floors w/o any padding in front of the machines; I broke two shafts in one night, and another player had his break also. Always at the same place - at the base of the flight. Was able to save the flight by drilling into the broken shaft piece & using a hook to pull it out. Since they don't sell singles had to order new sets. I like the system but there is a weak point.

These are exactly what it says they are BUT....they are not reliable! I throw a 20g barrel and the shaft will snap and break at the base of barrel very easliy. Spend the extra cash and get the carbon fiber shafts they will last FOREVER!

Makes life a lot easier. I used to go through a lot of aluminum shafts and nylon flights. Switching to these shafts and plastic, spinning flights that pop on and off with a smaller profile simplifies the process and gives me more room for tighter groups.

I'm not a great darts player, but I'm not as bad as these make me look. I can't make three consecutive darts stay in the board. The cat's hiding under the table and the dog's shopping for bike helmets because they're scared of the bounce-outs. I realise I have to adjust my throw with new flights/shafts, but it's not that I can't hit what I'm aiming for- I can't hit the board consistently with these. I regret buying these while distracted. Buy something which uses proper flights.UPDATE: The description is misleading: the bullet points at the top state "The "push in" system provides easy insertion of flight into the shaft"- however, these shafts are, it turns out, designed to be used without flights- as the expanded description down below states. It turns out we use flights for a reason. Flightless darts fly slightly less well than flightless birds.
