The latch that came on this piece didn’t properly clip onto the storage bin so switching the latch is necessary. Then you might as well switch the under cover as it has the rubber bumpers built in, where the replacement doesn’t have bumpers. Easy job and I like the squishiness of the new one vs OEM.

Poor fit, had to salvage parts from my old arm rest to make it work. The hinge part is fine and the springs go in but the latch barely works and it doesn't fit well enough with the bottom part of the arm rest to stay together

I was a little skeptical buying this just cause I’ve seen these priced from reasonable to absolutely insane but I decided to try it out and I’m very happy with the product it’s not absolutely flawless it’s missing the little rubber grommets inside and the push handle to open it moves a lot more than the original factory version.. however I used the original factory button and rubber grommets and installed them into the new armrest.I’ll add that it is also lighter and I believe the reasoning for this is because there isn’t as much plastic reinforcing the area where your elbow would press down so I would make sure to not apply as much pressure to this newer armrest as you would to the original factory version however I could be wrong and the plastic could be equally as strong.
