Did not fit the bed properly, prints stuck too strong, had issues removing even after chilling the plate in the freezer. Stopped using as I thought the coating would come off onto the prints.

The price was right, and it worked amazingly till I put in the wrong 3d print profile, and the hot head went across it and scratched it badly. The texture was terrific and worked fantastic on the bottom of my prints. Adhesion was good as long as u did a light clean of every print. Just use a rubbing alcohol pad. Durability was excellent till u put the wrong profile on our printer, and it dragged and dug into it. Heat retention is pretty good. Stay warm and print perfectly with the right setting and dry filament

UPDATE: IdeaFormer-3D reached out to me after my initial review, they were clearly quite concerned. They sent me another plate to test, as there was some concern that something may have been wrong with the first one. This plate behaved a bit differently, and I was a able to get it to work somewhat quickly. My advice when using this with PETG, dont simply clean it with Windex or 409 as is common. Use something like Dawn dish washing soap, a clean sponge, and very warm water, and wash it WELL in the sink before first use. Whatever residual was left was completely removed this way, and did the trick for me.Giving them 5 stars for outstanding customer service, and a genuine concern for their products performance.Initial Review: Absolutely useless with PETG, tried every trick I know, but it just wont stick properly. Tried 3 different kinds of PETG I have, and none will work.

Worked great in the Qidi Q1 Pro! Fit perfectly, good adhesion, will buy more to have extras. Leaves a carbon fiber look on everything that touches the bed!

Absolutely nothing wrong with this plate. I see comments aboot quality and I have no concerns... The only thing everyone needs to remember is to re-level and calibrate this monster. I would even recommend running a test print for your offset.. If you do that, plus basic 3D printing things, this plate will serve you well.For what its worth, I have put this thing to work and I am debating on getting a second so I do not have to wash it as often

I bought this product thinking it would be a quick swap with my regular build plate, but it's a slightly different thickness. I have a AnyCubic Neo 2 Kobra. I went from a z-offset of -1.97 to -1.67 before everything started printing fine. Through some trial and error I also scratched up the surface of the plate, but that's not the manufacturers fault. Just make sure to check before you start printing that it's not too low. The paper test didn't really work that great for me, but it's always something with 3D printers. Use your judgement and the prints will come out fine. I really like the glossy result of the holo print and the results are smooth as silk.Highly Recommend this product!

I wanted a textured surface for a print I was doing, thought the carbon fiber pattern would look nice when I'm printing black PLA. I could be my settings, I've only done a few prints, but it didn't leave too much of a carbon fiber pattern. Prints released without issues on that side, but the other side seem is very soft and with the same settings it stuck really well and was super difficult to get the print off leaving some marks in the surface. This other side is almost a rubbery layer, I'm not used to printing on. Maybe after playing with the settings I'll get some better results. Again, didn't leave much of a texture on the print but fine as another surface to print on.

Good adhesion for most filaments. Petg/pla/abs on my qidi q1 pro leaves a nice pattern. Can't complain it works well prints are easily removed no damage caused

This seems like a quality built plate with cool patterns that are flexible enough to go with a lot of different prints. Can't speak to how well it fits/works on the intended printers though since I rather roughly retrofitted mine — didn't realize these things were metal inside until the drill bit finally went through 😅 — to a older print bed that nearly pre-dates the removable build plates entirely.

PLA and PETG were tested.The Q1 Pro tested has a permanent z-offset of 0.015mm20x30mm rectangles were printed to establish the additional offset. They were printed at the front left corner of the build plate. Afterward, they were printed at the center of the build plate. Both the PEO and PET sides of the build plate were tested.For safety, it was printed first with .3mm z-offset and then stepped down in increments of 0.1, 0.1, 0.05.For PLA, 0.05mm z-offset, .(05+.015 total) was initially selected.For PETG this was increased to 0.075mm, (.015+.065 total).These could probably be further refined.PLA:Tested with both Chitu Conjure White PLA+ and Overture Easy PLA Digital Blue.Good adhesion on both sides with 225/65C first layer and 220/65 otherwise.The PLA would not stick at 210/60.PETG:Tested with an older spool of Overture Electrical BlueGlue stick was used with the PETG as a separating agent to prevent damaging the surface.The stock Qidi profile was used: 240/80 first layer, 250/80 otherwise (probably too high)Adhesion was good on both sides.The imprints were nice and even. Preference on this sheet for future prints is the CF look from the PET side.
