I purchased two of these to replace similar seats I purchased about 30 years ago as one failed. First these were a bit cheaper delivered. How does that stack up to inflation for 30 years? Second they have nearly 5 inches of travel. My old ones have 2 inches. These new seats weigh more than the old ones and appear to be structurally stronger. I believe these seats will give outstanding service at a super reasonable price. Two reasons for the 4 star rating. First neither seat back could be installed on one frame because the lower bolt slots were spaced too far apart. Rather than return it I elected to repair it. Second I got a nasty wound to my hand from a stub of MIG wire sticking out of a weld.

For the price, this is probably not bad. I installed it on a lawn tractor since our yard is quite rough. It did cushion the ride, but raised the seat too much, making it difficult to get on and off, due to steering wheel interference.

I had to fabricate an adapter plated for this to work and it was worth it. Love the height of the seat and arm rests. Since this is a smaller tractor making the adapter plate allowed me to customize where the seat sits.
