I bought this to help take apart an upright piano and I'm sure I'll find other uses for it.Starting with a carbide blade, it took me about 45 minutes to cut through the cast iron frame of the piano.It really didn't seem phased by it all, didn't overheat or anything like that.I did need a couple of minutes break in between cuts as my forearms started to ache a bit.I then switched to a wood and nail blade to deal with the wood frame (4x4 pieces) and it went through those like it was nothing.Although it's on the cheaper end of the market, for this one job I'm very happy with it.Can't speak to how it would hold up to prolonged daily use.

Although I haven’t used it, by the looks of it, it is a good tool. It’s just too heavy to use for one with arthritis.

Had my previous B&D for 30 years. So it died unfortunately. The new one is SO much lighter and works just as well.

I didn't expect this product to work as well as it does so I'm very please with the bargain price and the surprisingly good quality. Time will tell how well it lasts. If I get a couple of years I'll be extremely happy. Very good product overall

I bought this to help cut up a large dead branch that fell in my backyard. I started from the skinniest branch end, about 1.5 inches thick, and this tool couldn't even cut thru the branch!! It was absolutely horrible, as this is what the tool is made for and it wasn't even a thick branch! I ended up cutting it with hand clippers with zero issues, just figured this would be easier. I returned it that same day! I would suggest buying a different brand!

I'm a single, middle-aged woman with a huge yard & this saw has become my best friend! The home I recently moved into was vacant for several years & had a ton of overgrown trees & shrubs. I've always had great luck with Black & Decker products, so of course knew that I could trust the brand. Most tools are made for men, so was a little concerned with it being unwieldy. This saw is powerful, but easy to handle & has tamed the wilderness surrounding my home!
