Strong heat flow. Pretty sturdy. It has been kicked over multiple times and it’s not broken yet. It also turns off for safety when kicked over. Easy to use, knobs easy to turn.

This is a simple ceramic space heater with one thermostat dial and one dial you use to choose low heat, high heat, or fan only. No complicated buttons, no digital readouts, just an effective small space heater. Like it so much, this my third one; all still operating.

I had this one 17 months before it failed. (The ALL will fail. Every one) Have quite the experience with many of these kinds of heaters.) That is more than most of the others we have tried. During that time it worked perfectly.In these heaters, there are two ways they usually fail. 1) the heat sensor goes out and will not allow the heater to activate. (try and find that part!) 2) it will develop an "electrical smell" indicating something is definitely wrong and therefore not safe to use (this was symptom on this one that I am replacing). Since I got 17 months out of the last one, going to try again.

Heats up an area real quickly, with temperature control. Nice compact size. Only issue is that it is mildly noisy, though if you are listening to something you can just increasing the volume a bit and tune it out. Overall I would recommend to people who don’t mind a heater that makes some noise.

This is perfect for a small room or bathroom. I use it in both. It's compact but throws off a good amount of heat. The thermostat works well. It has a safety switch on the bottom. The heater needs to be perfectly flat on the floor for it to operate. If the heater tips even just a little bit, the switch opens the circuit and the heater turns off immediately. I've had this for a while now, and there are no quality issues, I'm very happy I bought this.

Calienta muy bien, tiene buena potencia a pesar de ser pequeño, claro es para cuartos o habitaciones pequeñas o medianas, pero trabaja muy bien y se ve está hecho con materiales de calidad. Hace ruido como todos los calefactores de este tipo, supongo, y se debe a su sistema de ventilación.

Ordered this for a young relative in uni who complained her room was cold.It was delivered within 24 hours. I tried and loved the soft warm heat. Was pleasantly surprised to find it can be used as a fan in the summer - nice cool air. Don't recall seeing that mentioned in the reviews. So double duty for a reasonable price. Perfect for desktop or on the floor. Exactly as shown.Like it so much I just ordered a second one to put under my desk. I spend a lot of time on the computer and my feet get cold to the point of being distracting. So, happy days ahead.

You can always trust Black + Decker to make good products. Works as offered. Heats any small or medium size rooms. I love the adjustable thermostat. Heats very quickly and is safe. Follow up. One month later this product is awesome. You can heat up an entire room in ten minutes. Black and Decker is awesome and has made a powerhouse heater! I highly recommend. Better than any other heater I've purchased before.This is an add on to my last review. Strong heater but broke down after only a few months of use.1

I purchased this heater in February from Amazon and it worked great for the last couple of months. It provided great heat, and had a safety feature that would shut the heater off if it got tipped over.Fast forward to June. This last week after being on for about ten minutes, this acrid, burnt smell started coming from the heater. This was followed by a metallic sound coming from inside the heater, then the heat stopped.Of course, I unplugged it right away and e-mailed Black & Decker through my Amazon Order page. I heard back promptly from a person who said that another company handles this heater as one of their "licensed partners". So apparently Black & Decker doesn't handle its own merchandise, at least not in this case. The person who e-mailed me forwarded my e-mail to this third party company and I hope I hear back.I really liked his little heater, but am afraid to take a chance on it again as I'm afraid it could possibly be a fire hazard. Please be cautious and don't leave this heater unattended.Another Update: I still have not heard back from the company that is licensed by Black & Decker to sell (or make) its heaters. I can't return the heater because it is beyond the return period, so I guess I'm stuck with a heater I won't use because I feel it's unsafe to do so.
