Spend the money to get the iso version. Once you start creating videos and putting together streams, you will wonder how you ever did it without this amazing device. Black Magic Design did a great job on this product.

I bought this only as a remote for a hyperdeck which is a video recorder that you put ssd into.I also found it had the added benefit of streaming to YouTube directly from the device.All of this I do from the Atem software on a local computer.

This has been an absolute game-changer for the production of our video podcast. Currently we don’t live cut each episode but this still saves us a ton of time just getting each episode ready to edit.If you have a video podcast, this is a must have. Spring for the ISO version just for piece of mind.

so far this thing is working great! i had the atem mini pro, but this new atem mini pro iso streamlines my workflow when editing multi camera videos. I can make cuts live for an event and this creates a program video, but also records the ISO files from each video and audio source as well as a davinci resolve project file. now I can open up the project file and make precise camera cuts when I need them, and even replace the iso files with the 6k footage I capture in the cameras for a higher resolution export. very happy with this.

Only thing to dislike is that you cannot use the atem software while simultaneously sending live video to OBS. It will glitch like crazy.Other than that this atem is amazing. Well built

El aparato es muy bueno, pero depende mucho de lo que necesites. Al final decidí cambiarlo por el modelo superior el EXTREME, que es más caro, pero merece mucho la pena en mi caso.Para realizar lo tiene todo, pero eché en falta 3 cosas. La salida de auriculares, que es fundamental para saber como sale el programa (ya que algunos monitores o TV no tienen salida de auriculares para oírlo por el HDMI), y sobre todo una segunda conexión USB.El USB solo se puede utilizar una cosa, no para dos a la vez, para conectar al PC para controlarlo, para conectar un disco duro para grabar, o para emitir por Zoom a través del ordenador (zoom no va por el ethernet ya que tienes que usar el atem como webcam para que lo detecte la app). De modo que para mi es inútil, ya que SIEMPRE quiero grabar las fuentes o el programa.Finalmente, solo tiene una salida HDMI, y para mi es fundamental tener 2, ya que la salida principal del HDMI está destinada al realizador que necesita el multiview para saber que va a pinchar o que MP va a utilizar. La segunda salida HDMI yo la utilizo para sacar la imagen limpia de PROGRAMA FINAL (Sin multiview), ya que para el plató (o el estudio, o el lugar donde se esté grabando, tener un monitor de referencia de progama...) es algo fundamental. Además también se puede usar la segunda salida de HDMI (sola o con un spliter que duplique la señal del programa final limpio) para usar una capturadora extra de HDMI y grabar en otra fuente más de seguridad.Pero si no es tu caso, y no necesitas nada de lo que te he comentado. El aparato es una maravilla. Lo procesa todo él solo y no necesita un PC si la emisión es por youtube por ejemplo. Solo necesitas preconfigurar el aparato con el ordenador antes del evento.El resto es lo esperado por blackmagic, calidad, bien pensado y muy compacto. Excelente. Si vas a grabar todas las fuentes en ISO (4 entradas separadas + programa), necesitas un disco muy rápido o tendrás problemas. Recomiendo un SSD tipo samsung, de 500Gb o más para 5horas de programa (dependiendo de la calidad).Ojo, la calidad de emisión es la calidad de grabación, no se puede separar las calidades. Eso es una pena. Estaría bien que el futuro firmware permitiera hacerloEl extreme es una maravilla. Salvo lo de las calidades separadas, tiene todo lo que he echado en falta y además la supersource para hacer todos los efectos y maravillas con escenarios virtuales...

Habe mir das Blackmagic Design Atem Mini Pro ISO geholt um neben meinem Fotografie Gewerbe auch noch Livestreams anbieten zu können, die ja gerade während der Pandemie doch ein gefragtes Ding waren. Nach einigen solchen Events, durch die mich das ATEM Mini Pro ISO bisher begleitet hat, wird es Zeit für ein Fazit. Und das fällt eigentlich ganz klar aus: Super Gerät, tut problemlos was es soll.Die interne Preview-Software ist stabil und übersichtlich, die Vorschau der Videosignale funktioniert einwandfrei auf einem externen Monitor/ BildschirmDie interne Software zu Audio-Kontrolle ist etwas Basic, aber tut für ein minimales auspegeln durchaus ihren ZweckWichtig zu wissen ist eventuell, dass man immer einen Laptop UND einen externen Monitor beim Streamen dabei dabei haben sollte. Zur Not tut es natürlich auch ein Field-Monitor, aber wirklich fein ist es natürlich mit einem 27 Zoll Bildschirm. Aber das ist sicher Geschmackssache.Sollte man Blackmagic Kameras sein Eigen nennen können, ist das Blackmagic Design Atem Mini Pro ISO ein noch mächtigeres Tool, schließlich kann mittels der Konsole die Kameras fernsteuern und WB, ISO usw einstellen. Aber dieses Feature kann ich leider nicht beurteilen.Mein Setup besteht aus Sony Kameras (A7C, A7III und A7II), bei diesen funktionieren die oben genannten Settings leider nicht. Aber das Streamen funktioniert auch mit diesen Cams einwandfrei, lediglich bei der Verkabelung mit den entsprechenden HDMI Kabeln muss man etwas acht geben.Zur Video Aufnahme Funktion kann ich leider nicht viel sagen, da ich sie noch nicht getestet habe, werde ich aber auch nachreichen.

I use this most of the day, but mainly for moving video backgrounds using a green screen on MS Teams. The ATEM Mini Pro ISO does this beautifully however randomly a frequently approximately 20 times a day the video image being sent out of the ATEM will fade to black and then reappear. Also about two times a week the USB output will fail altogether and will only come back to life after a cold reboot. The network interface is very temperamental. Even a Pi works more reliably picking up a DHCP address, and correct DNS settings.
