Used to attach a brush blade to an Ego and it was go time! It fits well and is easy to install and adjust. Very handy for heavy duty blades.

The nut provided fits my FS 56-RC, so I wasted money buying other nuts that other comments said was needed. They were wrong.This was used to switch the string trimmer to the blade, which just cuts through thick brush with ease.

The first thing I noticed was the allen wrench supplied with the kit to lock the shaft for spool removal was too big and wouldn't go in the locking hole, I used a smaller allen wrench in my collection to lock the shaft. The next think I found was the supplied locking nut to hold the adapter plate and the blade on the threaded shaft was not the proper thread for a Stihl weed eater shaft. I had to make a 20 mile round trip to the nearest Stihl dealer to get the proper locking nut at a cost $4 for gas and $4 for the right nut.If you have a Stihl weed eater avoid this adapter kit.
