For the money and aesthetics, look no further. Great paper, but doesn't hold fountain pen ink well. Good for stamp-prints though and other crafts.

I used this paper to create antique looking documents for a play about an early 1800's court case. The sheets performed beautifully going through both inkjet and laser printers. I coupled them with ribbon and sealing wax for a stunning, period look and feel. The actors loved handling the paper and commented on how it helped them create their characters.

I wanted to make my wife a handmade book for our anniversary. These sheets are nice and heavy, and I loved the rough edges. She loved her gift! Thank you!

I love this paper. I had an order for a blank handmade journal like one Lewis or Clark would have carried on their expedition. I used this paper- love the 4 deckle edges, the antiqued look including minor imperfections, the strength and yet takes marks well. I have experimented with ink, felt pen, and pencil, and all look great. The felt pen does not bleed through. I envision my client will use a dip pen and will journal. I don’t know if it will hold up to wet media like watercolor, but acrylic might work.

Used this paper for invites to a Lord of the Rings themed party. It was perfect. Beautiful paper. Feels really nice. Not sturdy.

I purchased this paper to create a super awesome birthday gift for a magic-loving 8 year old.For this to work it had to really seem legit and this paper feels old (edges are a bit tattered, in a good way) and not crunchy feeling like some other paper.I wrote a long letter and first tried to print via computer (see picture 3). The printer ink was not very visible because of the rough paper texture. So then I went through and wrote over everything by hand with the faint print as my guide. In picture 3 I'm halfway done with the page and you can see the difference it made. This is a pretty big pack of paper. I had to edit out the top maybe 10 pages because they had machine crinkle marks on the edge, but I was able to find the 4 flawless pages I needed for my project with plenty more leftover.

Don't expect a super high-quality paper, but for the price, you probably already have the right expectations. Watercolor paper can go for a lot of money, so it's cool that there's a textured, colored, option at a reasonable price. The thickness is like a standard watercolor paper, with a slightly rough texture that could be difficult to get super clean lines on. There's a sort of grid--like where a screen was--that leaves a slight impression that makes it less-than-ideal for super detailed work. The color is a little inconsistent, but not that noticeable. More tea colored, less vellum. The packaging is minimal. Came in cellophane with no labels, descriptions, identifiers, anything really. The size is a little smaller than I wanted, but is accurate to the stated dimensions (my fault for not reading more closely).I will probably buy this again when I run out or want the larger size.
