We purchased this to replace a broken wand for the blinds at our apartment too amid being charged a repair fee. It blended in seamlessly with the ones our unit came with! It was a little tricky to fit the wand pieces together, it required a little muscling to get it to look right, but it feels sturdy and was easy to install!

This want is not a solid, one-piece wand. It comes in 3 pieces, which you push together. After it's put together, if you're only using it to turn to open and close blinds, it's probably good enough. If you're going to use it to pull or push floor length vertical blinds open or closed, it bends and stays bent and doesn't look good. I like the fact that the hook part of the hook is longer so it stays attached to the blinds and doesn't come out of the little circle attached to the blinds, but the bottom of hook, the stem of the hook comes out of the want unless you use super glue to make it stay in the wand. So, all in all, if you need something with more of a hook on it, this might work, but if you're going to pull and push vertical blinds with it, it will work.... BUT it bends as you push it, so it's not as nice as a stiff solid piece wand. Hope that's clear.

I purchased this to replace one on the vertical blinds of my sliding glass door in my apartment. I really should've read further about this product before I ordered. It is a very cheap, flimsy, barely passable temp replacement until I can find a better one. My main issue is that it's just not sturdy enough. It comes in 3 sections that you just fit together and the "clear" hook that goes into the main blind adjustment mechanism (not sure of the real name) is so loose fitting in the rod that it pops out with very little pulling which makes it just above the level of non-use.So nothing against the manufacturer, but this is just not a passable replacement for what I needed and can't imagine it would be for anyone.

This was a waste of money. The hook springs out of the tube and you cannot use the product for its intended purpose.

Received just one piece with pivot (must be two as in the add) so, impossible to assemble the three pieces, asking for my money back

The wand came in white instead of clear, which was what I ordered. Also, it came in three pieces which was difficult to secure each piece into each other to make it longer.
