This is my 2nd purchase of this watering can. I have 2 sets of rain barrels, so one can is filling while watering with the other. I dump about 8-9 cans when watering the gardens and flowers. My first can is 2 years old, and still works as well as the new one. I really like how sturdy the body is, the large water capacity, the offset filling hole and the ability to rotate the head to pour water or sprinkle. The rotating handle seemed like a good idea, but I have removed it off of both cans. Here is what I can tell you after reading other reviews. Don’t use this in your house, and don’t use this on seedlings or delicate plants. The orange end cap can fall off if bumped with enough force. This has only happened 3-4 times, and it is easy to pop back on. There is a lot of water in this can, if you tilt it too fast you will get a lot of water. The water also does not immediately stop when you tilt it up, which is one reason you should not use it inside your house. The entire rotating head is pressed onto the can. It is not a perfect seal and water can drip at this connection. That is another reason to not use it inside your house. And for that one reviewer, you are correct, water spills out while carrying it if you over fill it. Might I suggest listening to classical music?

I guess I am at the point in my life where I am writing reviews for watering cans. So be it! This thing is GREAT. It holds a sufficient amount of water (not too tiny like a one-gallon can) and so far I've had no problems with the rain shower-type spout setting. Water does come out fast and kind of heavy (it'll weigh down lighter plants like carrot tops or lettuces) but fortunately no permanent damage to the plants - they are sturdy on their own. I like the dual adjustable handles and the length of the spout for that extra reach. This thing is great and I've had zero problems with it - no leaks or cracks.

I have had this watering can four around four years. I Love the dual handle. Hold the fixed handle when transporting and tipping to water. Hold the other handle for better control while watering. I love the large 2.6 gallon capacity. Although other reviews complained that the rotating handle popped off, I have never had this happen. Also the complaints about the spout cap falling off…I have never experienced this issue. What I do have trouble with is that it seems after I use dissolvable plant food, the holes on the spout seems to clog and all I get is the pour option. It takes a few waterings before the sprinkle ability reappears. This is tolerable given it’s light weight, high capacity, convenient dual handle, easy fill features and built in pour or sprinkle capability.

Works great apart from the fact that when I have the nozzle set to the shower-mode, after I'm done it keeps dripping water for a minute or 2 after. Sometimes the nozzle likewise has a hard time getting a good seal and leaks as well while watering.

Not sure what people are complaining about, as I've found this watering can to be quite useful. The head is pressed onto the can, and could fall off, but in my extensive use that has only happened once (human error). The second handle allows for better flow control from the spout. The plastic is strong and is able to hold a full tank easily. The off-centre hole makes filling a breeze. Like most things with gardening, care and consideration should be used; so don't go full-tilt (read: dump) the water out or you will disrupt your soil and stems/branches.

This is a good size and very sturdy . I no longer need to worry about leaks . Saw the same thing in another store for nearly twice as much . Great buy.

Love the dual handles, capacity, color and long spout. Don’t love the tricky spout: the orange perforated cap is thin and snaps-on the spout, sometimes pops-off with full water pressure on it during pouring. There are also many tiny holes so if you tip it partially to get less flow, it doesnt come through holes in a shower, but water trickles out each hole, bonds together and you get a huge drool rather than a light water shower. It is a physics/water tension issue, but that’s very frustrating when watering delicate or new flowers. If you tip it all the way, you get a shower, but a HEAVY one, and 2+ gallons of water is gone fast. If you tilt it back to slow down, the giant dribble returns. Other than that stuff, love it!

There are a lot of things that I like about this watering can. I like the double handle. I like that the double handle swivels. I like the 2.6 gallon size - which is about 22 pounds. Not too heavy, but a decent amount to water plants. I like the dual spout too. But that is where things start to fall short. The end just snaps on, instead of screwing on. That means it isn't a real tight fit and it tends to come off unexpectedly. Also, the dual spout is a fabulous idea in theory, but doesn't really work well in practice. If the can is full, and the spout is in "shower" mode, you get a nice shower out of the bottom half, but if you tip farther, the shower get interrupted by the "pour" spout, and now you have just flattened your poor little plant. On the other hand, if you put it in "pour" mode, water still comes out of the shower part as well, so the water flow diameter is not limited like you would expect. Now your floor/patio, etc. is wet. Also, while I thought the color looked really cool...it is, in fact, quite HOT. That is, if you leave water in the can, it absorbs heat (especially in direct sunlight), and then you are watering your plants with 110 degree water. Ouch!Update: After using it for a couple of weeks, I have managed to destroy multiple plants as the spout is now falling off every time I use it. In addition, the swivel handle is a nice idea, but it needs to have some kind of stopper on it so it doesn't fall under the can. The picture shows both handles in an upright position on it own, but that is not reality. The swivel handle falls down as soon as you let go of it, and if you let go of that handle first, the swivel handle falls all the way down - UNDER the can. That means you can't set the can down on the ground until you physically grab that swivel handle again and pull it out from under the can. VERY annoying. At this point, I am totally done with this thing and I am sending it back.

I didn't know if this watering can is worth the extra money from the basic standard ones, so I decided to purchase one and found out it is for me. There are some nice features which make this watering can nicer than the rest. First, the increased capacity for water is great and the handles are such that it makes it easy to carry. The pour spot in the shower mode is large and wide and the flow of the water is great so it takes less time to water the plants. There is a long neck which makes it easy to water hanging baskets. Also, this can looks nice and goes in well with the outdoor decor. This watering can looks to be made well, and will hopefully last a long time. I would definitely recommend this, and am glad I purchased one.
