Bought this after a super cheap fuse holder I had arced out where I had it mounted in my Jeeps engine bay after doing a full battery cable upgrade. The cheap fuse holder lasted a few years but after finding it half melted and seeing that the stud (just a bolt in epoxy resin) had arced out on my inner fender well because the plastic was so thin I immediately counted my blessings it didn't burn my vehicle to the ground and jumped on here to get a Blue Sea Systems set up. I went with this one as it seemed to be the most robust and I loved that the fuse is encased with a weather tight seal too. Thing is primo, but you do pay for it. Both in unit costs + specific fuses but after what I dealt with I don't even care for the peace of mind.EDIT AFTER LOTS OF MILES OF OFFROADING: Unit is holding up even better than I expected. The sealed off waterproof section where the fuse goes is the best feature to this thing, it's kept out all the elements which is great as my Jeep has hood spacers which lets in more dust than stock hoods do and it sees lots and lots of miles of offroading trails and dirt roads. Blue Sea products have yet to let me down with anything from them I've put in my rig.

This fuse block is really nice and I'm really happy with it to replace my cheap ALN fuse block. However, the only thing that I could gripe about is they don't/didn't include the screw for the spare fuse. Seems like a very nice, high quality unit either way.

I orderd 3 blocks fuses that appeared to fit.but they did not fit. I will return these blocksI had to order new fuse blocks for MIDI fuses

This fuse block is well made. The base is made from a stout glass-filled material that is ultra strong. The cover fits perfectly and is sealed with an o-ring that makes it water resistant and explosion proof. The double opposing clips secure the terminal cover so that it absolutely cannot come off, no matter the application. Rough roads? No problem. This MEGA fuse is very heavy duty and reliable. Buy the correct amperage fuse and it will serve you well for decades. Don't make the mistake of buying a cheap fuse block that needs to be replaced through faulty performance. Buy this first. It costs a little more, but certainly costs less than buying a cheap one first! You will not regret it. Its the best.

Great quality. The straps are a very good addition.The only negative is my 1/0 wires are a bit big to lug under the cap, but you are able to bend it to make it work.

The fuse blocks I get form Blue Sea hold up better than most others. The plastic doesn't get brittle after years of being inside the engine compartment in the Texas summer heat.

I used this for my dual battery setup. It's important to put a fuze as close as possible to the second battery, but this was under the truck so I needed something more sealed for corrosion and explosive atmosphere considerations. This is a pretty sweet housing.My only complaint is there are holes in the housing on the bottom side that expose the terminal studs. If you mounted this on bare grounded metal in a wet (salty?) environment, you could get a short there. I filled mine with silicone before mounting.
