I broke my old plastic knob when trying to remove it to do a repair. The prices I was finding online for the original plastic part was $40.00. I found this better quality (metal) knob at Amazon, and it fit and worked perfectly for my Whirlpool LSV6233AW0 washer. Plus, it includes two knobs for a quarter of the price.

It doesn't have a little arrow, like the original knob did, but that isn't necessary. It works perfectly to select the heat option/time on my 30-year old dryer.

Screwed in perfectly to my older model Kenmore early 1990’s washing machine in which the knob broke off so you needed a strong nap to pull and turn to correct cycleand I crazy glittered a few times and it worked once every time my crazy glued, and then wouldn’t work anymore

Came in a timely fashion. My husband had to make a few adjustments for it to work. I am very thankful that we found this on Amazon because having no indicator on your washing machine is difficult to use it.We tried finding one locally but we were told it was no longer available because it was obsolete.
