AK-380 Bluetooth Connection Instructions
1. Press the function conversion key on the panel and switch to bluetooth playback mode.
2. Smart phone bluetooth play operation: turn on the function of bluetooth device.
Then turn on the bluetooth function on the smartphone and tap the(search Settings)

It does not come with a power cord the 1st cord didn't give it enough power. The 2nd power cord I found made it very hot. I tried a 3rd power cord and it blew up.

Hooked up some old bookshelf speakers in the garage connected to a laptop and the sound is very nice. Its a super basic unit that does exactly what I wanted it to do for a very reasonable price. It can be screwed to a beam so it has zero footprint, in contrast to the receiver that it replaced.

I only need the Bluetooth option so planned to put this under the dash of my rv and use the remote to control it. Unfortunately this did not work out because, once powered off and turned back on (from the remote) the unit defaults to the line input as well as the volume that the front panel is set to which means the mode scrolls from line to FM and then to Bluetooth. If you forget to turn the volume down before changing the mode, the FM will blast.If only this unit would remember the previous settings when powered off, it would have been exactly what I needed.I realize mine is a specific application but thought the review might help someone from having to make a return.

I've been using for about 6 months and still works perfect. I have it hooked up to 4 6.5" speakers and it has no problem getting very loud

This little guy packs a punch. I love the simplicity. Never used the sim card or USB but it's been 2 years with my bookshelf speakers, I love it

I hook it up to a pair of speakers to turn them into a Bluetooth set. For that purpose, also considering the price, this product works great.I am not picky on sound quality so I can not say too much on that regard. What I can say is that it doesn't produce any noticable white noise like many other Bluetooth devices.My only complaint is that since it doesn't remember the mode after power-cycling, and radio is before Bluetooth, AND the radio is LOUD, whenever I power it on and switch it to the Bluetooth mode, I have to remember to turn the volume down first or suffer from a super loud sound blast.It is not a huge deal however since I now basically just keep it on all the time.
