I always start out stating I’m a senior, not particularly tech savvy as being an art teacher didn’t require much tech knowledge. But I am going to thoroughly enjoy this little baby! The instructions were clear to me, and I was able to load the app easily to my iPhone. As far as lining up the labels, I needed to rip off a few that were bending off the roll, which makes sense. My husband is going overseas this weekend and was anxious to have some identifying labels made, so I jumped right in! Made him perfect labels with a cute character on them, super easy, same technology used in my first word processing class long ago. They printed out FAST and the ink dries very quickly! Boom! I was able to save it and find it again easily. The only thing I couldn’t figure out was how to turn it off! I’d push the power button and it would feed stickers out. So… Googled it. HOLD the power button down. Probably intuitive for most.I love this little guy! Now, what to name him?

I really really dislike the software that this product uses but I just can't bring myself to deduct stars from what seems to be a great piece of hardware. I figured out that I could avoid many of my gripes with the software by using any standard drawing software, saving the image, and then using the product software to import the image and print it.Just to try to be helpful, here is some of what to expect from the software: 1) The user interface is awful in that you can expect that whenever a button should be prominent, up front and center, it will be tiny and in some corner. Or it will be unlabeled. And the software will be inconsistent in which corner to place the tiny button; 2) There is more than one 'back arrow' button and they do different things at different points in ways I can't predict. They sometimes goes back one step and sometimes unexpectedly exit the program immediately from deep within; 3) The software needs an internet connection for pretty much anything besides printing plain text. First you need to download the icons for templates and fonts, one section at a time, without any control. Then you need to individually need to download the actual data file for any template or font icon that you want to use; 4) Even printing simple text can be a chore because the software on the one hand doesn't allow new line characters in a text box, but on the other hand does automatic line wrapping whenever it sees fit. The only way I can figure to have two lines of text is to create a separate text box for each line, and to manually attempt to line up the boxes next to each other properly. OR - just use other software to create a pdf file for this software to use.

This printer can handle multiple sizes of labels as it has adjustable arms that hold the roll securely in place. One thing to watch for is when you start to print- ask yourself- did the label adjust by pushing and pulling the paper before I print the first label after turning it on or changing the roll? If you didn't turn it off and back on or open the hatch and close it again to ensure it sets so it doesn't throw the alignment off and waste 1-2 labels. The app is easy to download and connect for use, however you may find adjusting the templates or making your own a little perplexing at first. The labels that come with the printer seem to be water resistant- I say this as I've been using it to print plant labels for my temporary pots while they grow and often these are exposed to large amounts of water (not to say they're sitting submerged in water constantly), and the labels have not fallen off nor become "soggy". The labels themselves are high quality and the printer is well designed. For the price I wasn't expecting the material composition of the printer to be so sturdy. The print quality is very clear but you may need some adjusting on the first couple labels to ensure alignment of the template. The printer is also fairly quiet compared to other models but is not silent. Printing is very fast which makes up for some of the noise since it doesn't last long. Overall I would say this is well worth the amount it costs. I would also be willing to buy the labels directly from this seller as they were very well made.

Nice label maker, but has a few glitches. For example, in the app, it doesn't tell you whether or not you are printing within the label or not. Also, when it prints one label, it spits out about 4, so you have to tear it yourself, or feed the rest back into the printer. All in all, it is nice because it has lots of fonts, and my 5 year old song enjoyed the fact that it had cartoon pictures you could print. If you leave the object in the spot it pops into when you choose it, it will print within the boundaries of the labels, but you can't tell where it's going to print if you move it or if you enlarge it. I ended up wasting labels because of this. The app should be improved in that way.

Ordered this since I have a great need to label things. The setup is simple enough following the included instructions however unsure if it will work with any other software besides the one from the manufacturer downloaded using their QR code. Got it to successfully print several test labels on the included 50mmx30mm roll, however the software is indeed a bit confusing to use at first glance as others have pointed out. May update the review later once I test it with Windows OS and different sized labels.✅ Relatively Inexpensive, won't hurt the budget too much if lost or broken. Works as described.✅ Hyper Portable, features USB-C port charging and bluetooth device connection.❌Manufacturer's software takes some getting used to. Not quite intuitive but works OK with Android.✅All in all highly recommend if you need a cheap thermal printer that works with any Android device.
