This can get a little tricky to get connected to your headsets, but once you get it done you will enjoy it. Great for air travel when sharing one screen. Works great and allows great sound to pass through. Keep in mind it does have a volume control on it which we figured out when playing with it. You will need to turn it up.

If it was possible to rate half stars, this would probably rate a 3.5.Overall, this is a decent device for its intended usage, and I would recommend it to friends and family. That said, there are some things which could be better in terms of latency and battery life.First, what is included in the package:* TX/RX device* USB-A to USB-C cable for charging* Short 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable (approximately 4 inches)* Zip-up case that will hold the cables and device with room to spare* Instruction pamphletHere's the rundown:SETUPIt was very easy to connect to my phone via Bluetooth, following the directions provided in the instructions. I was also able to successfully connect via 3.5 mm cable to use in transmit mode. My Bose earbuds were a little more difficult to connect via Bluetooth, but a small amount of patience was really all that was required.SCREENThe screen, while small, is easy to read and the backlight is sufficient to be usable in dim or dark locations. On/Off, status (RX or TX), connected device and volume control all are displayed clearly, and represent the functionality being used accurately.TRANSMITThe transmitted sound from my phone and from my laptop to the earbuds was fairly good stereo, but it did exhibit a small amount of latency. For most people it would probably be okay when listening to music on a plane - it was less than .5 second. For me, it did result in minor annoyance when watching a video on my laptop and attempting to listen via the transmitter to my earbuds, but for general use, listening to music and a podcast, it was certainly acceptable!RECEIVEMuch like transmission, I did sense a similar amount of lag when the device was connected to my laptop and I was sending music from my phone. While this may not be the common case, I think it represents the case well enough to assess the capability of the device.BATTERYBattery life seems to be a little less than advertised - when transmitting, I found that the battery lasted approximately 9.3 hours. I did not fully test the 15-hour advertised life for receiving, but I did get at least 10 hours for that. Overall, I'd say it would work for most needs.

This Bluetooth receiver/transmitter works great for transmitting audio from a device with an aux/headphone jack to a pair of Bluetooth earbuds or a speaker. It connected effortlessly to the earbuds and the sound quality was good. I also like that it's rechargeable which is great for scenarios where powering it could be difficult... it even came with a USB-C cable.The reason I'm dropping two stars is because when using it recieve Bluetooth from my phone to run it through my car's AUX jack it was really unreliable. On my Samsung Galaxy S23 the reciever would constantly disconnect (I've never had issue with other Bluetooth devices) and at times when it would still be connected the audio would constantly go out and the phone would indicate that the reciever is connected "for calls only" although seconds before it was connected for "calls and audio". Also, getting it to pair to the phone at all was problematic and difficult... they just would not connect easily and errored out constantly. I'm really disapointed by this as the main reason I got this reciever was to use it with my phone in the car.I'm feeling mixed about this reciever/transmitter... I love that it could be used two-ways but unfortunatly the intented way I planned to use it isn't going to work.

This device just works. Connect this bluetooth transmitter to an audio source and then connect to it with your phone. I was interested in using this as a way to watch and listen to media on my smart TV without bothering anybody else. For this purpose it worked very well. The 3.5 mm audio cable that comes with the transmitter is short. It connects the audio device, in this case my TV to the transmitter. The first time you set it up, you might find the short cable inconvenient as it's difficult to turn it on and check when it's behind the TV. I had a longer 3.5mm cable that I first used, but after I was satisfied that everything worked fine, I switched out to the shorter cable and had the transmitter behind the TV. Something to be aware of is that the power to the transmitter is powered by USB 5V. You can either use the USB port of your TV or take a spare USB power brick that you have and connect the transmitter. All in all I found it easy to use and does what it advertises.

It’s a nice looking device and when working, it works fine. However, it drops connections. Keep in mind my phone and this device is within 1 foot of each other.When it drops the connection, it asks to pair again. This is extremely annoying.

This bluetooth transmitter was easy to pair with my cell phone. Sadly, my trip was cancelled so I have not been able to try it out on an airplane. I will try to update after I fly so that I can confirm that all went well with the transmitter while flying. For now, it's five stars for pairing easily with my phone.
