I never thought I would have to worry about broken bongos. Apparently that is a real issue adults face. If you are faced with this issue and you want some fresh skins these worked great for me. I soaked them in the tub for maybe thirty minutes before installing them. They sound good.

Se compro cabezal para Bongo y fue de mala calidad, nunca funciono y se reventó. Se devolvió artículos en mal estado, como solicitaron de Amazon, y se tiene más de 8 días de haber hecho devolución y no se me a devuelto el dinero. Demasiado tiempo sin reintegrarse mi dinero.Nunca me devolvieron mi dinero a pesar de enviar comprobante de devolución al e-mail dado por personal de Amazon.Muy mala atención del Servicio al Cliente. No dan solución y hablan con mentiras.No recomiendo este producto y menos las compras por Amazon, les falta honestidad y me siento robado.

This worked out very well. I soaked the skins for 12 hours, then stretched them over the tops with rubber bands and tacked them evenly. There is a good amount of extra material to allow for pulling them down tight. The tone is very good and resonant once they were completely dry. The discoloration around the edge is from the oils in the wood coming through when they were damp, which is not a problem. Thank you. It's just what I needed to restore my 50 year old bongos.
