The sealability worked great on my boat. Adhesion and ease of use went smoothly

Leaking deck hatch on my boat for years finally prompted me to pull the window, remove old stripping and reseal with LifeSeal. It was recommended by several legitimate marine mechanics and for good reason. Waited on review until the real test….Not a drop of leakage since replacing after the last downpour.

Sealed my exhaust flanges , trim tabs and hooks. No leaks. Best sealant I’ve ever used. I will use on my RV as well.

Great product with good adhesion is long lasting and will set up under water. I have used the product for good number of years when I was a marine mechanic for installing thru hull fitting, transducers for depth indicators, etc..

I will start this off with I LOVE LIFESEAL. Here is why:It is the ultimate boat sealant for a non-professional boat owner, who does not have time to understand which sealant/adhesive for which application. While each product has its pros and cons, this is the best one size fits all option (even though it does not fit every application).Pros:Approved for above and below waterlineCures in 24 hours (has issues in colder climates)Cleans up easy and you can get it off your hands easilyAttaches to most plastics (this typically is the downfall of most other products)Available in black, white and clearHas great UV characteristicsVery flexibleCan be used as a caulkCan use the same bottle later just by capping itMakes excellent for bedding deck hardwareConsNot the strongest adhesive (this is what you give away)Based on that, not the best to use for screwsBecause of the above, i feel this is the easiest sealant to use for the most applications.

This is probably my favorite boat sealant. It costs a lot, but unlike 5200 or 4200, you can reuse a tube after it has been opened. It's not as strong an adhesive as the 3MM products, but it's great for caulking boat caps or any other parts that are stabilized with bolts. I also use it for transducers and to seal any hardware below the waterline. It's pretty easy to remove when you need to replace a part. I use it both above and below the waterline. It's easier to get off of your hands and tools than Lifecaulk, which is just an above the waterline product.
