It was easy to take apart. After having 5 people look at this yamaha throttle control, and 2 outboard mechanics something in it is not right. We changed the throttle and gear shift cables different ways on the cams. There is no way to reverse the opening and closing of the carbuerator. This one binds up and doesnt shift. After hooking everything up after 20 different combinations we threw in the towel and sent it to the shop. Which had the same conclusion as us..I would give it zero stars, but it was easy to disassemble and work with.$140 wasted...😞

Opened the box and there is only 1 key and it was bent and dirty. The controller is scratched and the collar that attached to the cord is broken. It's going back. Why resell something that is used?
