Only lasted about three months then it just deteriorated. It must be the cheapest rubber that is available.

Sun damage happens fast. UV damage cracks rubber than gets brittle and breaks. Expect it to last 1/2 season.

Very easy to install, one screw with a nut. Almost identical to the OEM part. I only had it installed for a week or so, so time will tell on durability. That was the only reason for the 4 stars.

A friend accidentally broke the strap on my boarding ladder so I looked on line for a replacement. This one looked the same as my old one, and it fit perfectly on the pull-out boarding ladder. And for a reasonable price too! Also, I could install it while my boat was in the water.
