These balls do not hold up well in a gym. Every one that I bought has now split.

I love working this ball. I will say that as a girl I probably got one that was too heavy. They are kind of pricey and I didn't want to have to buy 2-3 different sizes. I just wanted to buy 1 that I thought I could use and that would still challenge me. I will say it definitely challenges me! Since you are not using the ball to do a specific move with or motion like you would with a kettle bell or dumbbell, It uses a lot more muscles and tires you out very quickly. Though I can't do much with it now. I do use it quite often and I am happy with the product and my purchase. Eventually the reps in my exercises will increase it just might take a bit longer then if I had a lighter ball. Also with a lighter ball I could probably throw in a few extra exercises, but I get too tired at this weight to use it for too long.If you have the money I would suggest starting with a 6 to 8 pound ball for the girls so you can get used to the motions, different exercises and throws you can do with the ball.

Great addition to my home gym. Good size and weight for core work.
