It's late Saturday afternoon, on a 3 day holiday weekend, and the weather is turning hot. All the local appliance stores are closed. What does one do? I took a chance on these run caps to get the system back up soon as possible. If you purchase 2 of them, then Amazon will deliver them overnight. Yes indeed, they were on the doorstep by 6am the next day.One of the caps has a indented can. I am not sure if this will affect the operation and may ask for a replacement. The main thing is that the A/C compressor is back up and running. No clue as to the longevity of the cap. yup, made in China...

BOJACK 60+5uF 60/5MFD ±6% 370V/440V CBB65 is an exact replacement for the OEM GE 97F9816 Capacitor in our Bryant 561CJ AC System. Connections are marked, size is the same and worked just fine.

We're having a heat wave, so of course my air conditioner decided to quit on me. I found a few Youtube videos that provided ways to check different components to see if they were bad. I did some checks to rule out bigger issues, and a start capacitor failure was one of the remaining possibilities.The price wasn't bad, and the old start capacitor looked pretty rough and was bulging on top (that's the picture shown). I took a chance on replacing the part, ordered it early evening, and it arrived the next day. I put it in that day and less than 24 hours later I had cold air conditioning again! Just match the existing wires to the same terminals on the new one. Make sure you understand how to discharge the power in the old capacitor to avoid a nasty shock.This part solved the problem and arrived quickly!
