Updated 18/06/2024 - The great team at BolAAzuL have since contacted me to offer a full refund and offer their sincere apologies thus turning this review around for me, looking after customers is a great way to keep them comnig back and I for sure will try products from them again should i find myself needing something, hopefully with a better outcome :DOriginal review - Nice sturdy and long cable, build quality seems good and love that it locks into place for a secure connection but... Only worked for about a month then started to make my monitor distort, a rapid flickering of the whole screen with no consistency, tried with a different cable and works perfect, back to this one and the same issue again, just after the return window, not good :(

Purchased this as I needed a long cable, was unsure if it would be any good considering how cheap it is, in all honesty if you need a long display port cable then look no further than this cable and brand.Perfect picture and very well-made cable.Would highly recommend.

Das 5m Kabel macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck - leider flimmert der Monitor, sobald das Kabel im Kabelschacht neben einem anderen Kabel liegt. Der Monitor hat einen einfachen 230V Anschluss (wie üblich). Sobald die Kabel nebeneinander im Kabelkanal liegen, flimmert der Monitor -> vermutlich einfach schlecht abgeschirmt. Austausch gegen ein anderes Kabel von KabelDirekt (hat "nur" 8K im Vgl. zu den 16k) und der Monitor läuft einwandfrei.

I received this DisplayPort cable hoping for a decent quality at a reasonable price, and it turned out to be a good choice. The cable feels sturdy and well-made, especially with its sheathing. In terms of performance, it handles high resolutions and refresh rates really well.

I recently picked up a 4k 144hz monitor for my PC.. and wanted to make sure I had a cable to run it.. also.. cable management is a pain so I needed to make sure I had the extra length. I can't say for sure rather this cable was an improvement as I never used my older one with this monitor. But I can say that I am seeing a improvement in games graphics.

I recently received this DisplayPort cable and was disappointed to find that it didn't work on the same ports that my previous cable did. I tried multiple connections, including my gaming monitor and PC, but still couldn't get it to work. It's frustrating because I was really looking forward to the increased frequency and resolution capabilities of this cable, but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. I ended up having to switch back to my old cable, which was a working one. It's unfortunate, but I have to give this product a 1-star rating based on my personal experience.

Future-proof your Displayport equipment by getting v2.0 cables now. The v2.0 standard has not yet been widely adopted, but the cables to support it have hit the market and these are a great way to be ready.The build quality of these are evident from every angle -- the thick cable, heavy duty stress reinforcing and the plugs themselves all speak to the effort made. The amazing part of all this is that they are priced about the same as the v1.4 cables, so it is a win-win for the consumer.I do not yet have a computer or monitor that can handle v2.0, so I cannot speak to how well it handles 16k, etc, but given the quality of the build, I am confident that the cables will work as per the new spec.I am giving these cables from BolAAzuL the full 5 stars due to the quality and pricing -- hard to beat.

This is the least expensive, yet highest-quality DP cable I own (granted, I only own a dozen or so...). I purchased this thinking it would be a good "compromise" for a system that isn't used, daily.When the package arrived, I was surprised to discover inside this cable, thinking that it was much too heavy to have been a display cable.The outer sheathing layer is similar to the netting you'd find on pears, only miniature, and the attention to detail at both ends, both with the complicated locking-connector and additional sheathing boots — it's really wonderful to see a seller/OEM/manufacturer actually delivering a solid product [I will be sure to reduce my 5-star rating should this ever change; until then, all my future display cables will be sought from this seller/brand].

Bought this as a i needed a certified 5m dp 1.4 cable, Non certified cables would make my acer 27x display flicker and give it other odd behaviour, they were very expensive in the £40+ range so I looked at this cable as it is cheaper which isn't certified but is rated for dp 2.0 and it works perfectly. literally no issues.The cable physically is good quality made with a ridged cable and nice bulky metal connectors.

Price and length and version I can’t complain. What really drive me to buy it though is the locking mechanism it has. hasn’t failed on me yet.
