The first day I had used it, I weighed a nice 4lb bass, and then it fizzed out due to water somehow. And I would assume if your dealing with weighing things from the water. Probably should be a little water resistant

Went to Mexico and I had 5 luggages that needed to be no more than 55lbs and 25lbs. The device was accurate, especially when arriving to the airport's weight scale, it was on point. The only complaint is the hook. It's too small and you have to find that right spot to connect and lift the bag. Other than that it does the job.
