Quite well made. Supports my Meinl bongos very well. These bongos have a thick composite center block that the clamp holds well. I can pick up the stand by the bongos and move them around without anything coming loose. I have installed the extensions that support the bottoms of the bongos, but they seem unnecessary. Perhaps if I really get wailing I will appreciate them. If you set the stand on a rug, it is necessary to not extend the legs all the way out, so that their angle prevents the center of the stand from resting on the floor. Good price and it is all the stand I need.

For the price, this is a decent stand. It's all metal with a double-braced tripod and and comes with a nice little bag. For lightweight, starter bongos, it will probably work just fine. However, my LP Galaxy bongos are quite heavy and tend to make this stand twist and flex – even with the supplied, under-drum support struts installed. I will likely get something more stout for gigs. Another minor complaint is that you have to disassemble the stand in order to fit it in the carry bag.Bottom line is the stand will likely do the job for hobbiests and recreational bongoseros. If you're a gigging musician with expensive bongos, you'll likely want to spend the money on a pro-level stand. I will likely keep it for my practice setup.

It is a nice compact stand and the included carryingcase seems well constructed and convenient. It’s also easy to set up. My possible issue, isthat ( the 3 fold out legs are solid BUT they aremore like for a snare drum stand and are not assolid as more robust bongo stands I have used. )The Bongos wobble a bit when hit. THAT SAID.This stand IS MUCH MORE PORTABLE and I do likethat.

This little stand really fit the bill for my needs. The stand is double-braced and very sturdy. It also included a little bracket that supports the outsides of each bongo drum that was not clearly visible in the pictures. This bracket enhances the overall stability of the stand. So far, I have only used the stand from a seated position at my drum set and the height range is perfect. It may be a little short for a standing position.

Like I said it was a great deal and the item is very sturdy, fit the bongo drums like a glove. Would highly recommend this product. Got it before the delivery date they stated. That was a real plus.

I have Toca Players Series bongos. I also have a lot of other hand drums and stands, so I know how they should work.At the most basic level, a bongo stand should, well, hold bongos in a secure position. This stand's padded clamp, which is supposed to screw shut on the wooden bridge between the drums, is way too short to accomplish this most basic of tasks. I position my bongos into the stand, screw the clamp shut, and there's still about a half inch of room between the two sides of the clamp and the wooden bridge. It's pretty insane that anyone would manufacture a product that is incapable of fulfilling the task for which it was created. The construction is flimsy. Everything is just barely within tolerances. They got stingy with every bolt used to hold this thing together. None of the bolts want to stay securely fastened but instead work themselves loose with astonishing rapidity. This is easily the cheapest stand I've ever purchased. Clearly you get what you pay for.Oh yeah ... I should note, too, that the box it was shipped in was so flimsy that it was ripped entirely open by the time UPS finished with it. I'm confident it has all its parts, despite a lack of instructions, but it was disconcerting to see the state of the shipment.I'm keeping the stand. It'd probably cost almost as much to return it as I spent on it originally. Instead I'm going to see if I can come up with a way to fix the clamp problem. Always nice to have to jury-rig a brand new product.Let the buyer beware.

I'm proud to be the first reviewer of this bongo stand, wow what a buy. This stand is rock solid, its construction is solid steel, and has easy adjustable height, and clamping using wingnut style screws. It comes in a tubular box packed inside the carry bag. It is in three sections when you unpack it. It took me all of one minute to assemble. It has no instructions, but you don't need no stinking instructions! The clamp is heavy gauge steel and solid and is nicely lined so it won't scratch your bongos. There is also supporting t-bars that go underneath the bongos although they don't touch their base. The stand tilts your bongos at the perfect playing angle, and depending on your height you could probably stand up and play them, but why? Trust me do not waste $80.00 or more on some pricey brand name bongo stands, buy this you'll thank me. Anyway, before you buy anything check Amazon first. They have great products, great prices, great vendors, and superb service. I can't wait to get the Sound Percussion Medium Wgt. Drum throne that I ordered.
