Got this fence to keep the toddler away when the fire is lite!!! Folds away when not needed. Came with replacement pieces! Not call needed in the future.

This was perfect to put around our hot stove to keep our kids away from being burned! It was so easy to put together and setup. I love the build quality of it. It’s very sturdy and has withheld my kids trying to climb on it! It also keeps our dog away from the stove!

We have a Cumbor baby gate at the bottom of the stairs and the quality is amazing. The gate is wide and it closes and opens so easily. This one feels really cheap and like it will break at any second. We’ve had it for a few days and the piece that connects the gate at the bottom has already fallen off. It’s easy to put back on but every time I open and close it I feel like it’s going to break. The gate is also soooo narrow and if I’m bringing laundry or anything down I have to carry it up high to fit. The only reason why it works for us because the top of our stairs has an awkward placement of a higher banister and a regular baby gate wouldn’t work. Wouldn’t buy it if we had any other options.

UPDATE: reached out to the seller and they sent a new part to replace the broken latch!Purchased this gate in January and have loved it. Opened it this morning and the button broke off to be able to open the gate. Having to keep a screwdriver by the gate to be able to open it. Pretty disappointing that it only lasted 6 months.

We live in upper part of our home!! My mother lived in the downstairs apartment!! Bc she couldn't do stairs I had an electric chair climber!! My husband and I got a new puppy and we needed a safety gate to keep her upstairs!! Bc of the chair climber, I could not use a regular gate!! I bought two different styles prior to this gate!! The other styles were not safe for us, bc we were always on a step, trying to open or move the gate and bring our puppy downstairs to go outside to do her business!! I felt this was very unsafe of us, as we are in our elderly years!! I was very concerned about us losing our balance and falling down the stairs!! So I went back to the Amazon website to search for another type of gate!! I came across this one and thought it would work well!! This gate accommodated the chair climber, the gate was further away from the stairs, which allowed safety for us and our puppy!! The gate opener is in the middle and can be opened in both directions, which is a nice feature!! The only concerning part is I'm not sure if the gate features will last a long time bc we are up and down the stairs frequently!! I'm not sure if there are replacement parts?? The gate does wiggle slightly when opening the gate, but I don't feel that would be a problem in the future!! Overall, I love the functionality of this gate, but more importantly, I love the safety that it provides for us and our puppy!! I would highly recommend purchasing this type of gate if you have similar needs as we did!!

So I was extremely excited about this baby gate as it is shorter than our previous baby gate so me and my husband can step over it. But after setting it up it didn’t even last 12 hours. My two year old barely pulled on it and it literally snapped apart and broke. Definitely wasn’t worth the money. I figured it would be sturdy and would live up to the cost. However it didn’t even survive the first morning (we put it up late last night after the kids were asleep... and she was able to pull on the part that opens and it snapped the hinges in half). Definitely not made for toddlers. Maybe for pets but not for toddlers at all. She tried to open the latch and pull the gate open..... instead it just snapped. I couldn’t believe my eyes. We haven’t ever had a baby gate do that. Our toddlers have always been able to open the baby gates, we more so have them to slow them down and so we can hear when they’re going into the kitchen. Which works for us. But I was in the kitchen and told her she could come in the kitchen, and watched her push the red button and pull the gate and the hinges just snapped right in half. There is no way to fix it either as it’s the hinges right next to where the gate opens. Pretty bummed and upset. Idk if we got a faulty gate, or if all are like this. But I will not be purchasing or recommending this gate as a result. It was pretty easy to set up which I liked. And it looked nice. But it is not sturdy. And not made for homes with kids. And I’m sure if our big dog bumped into it now, it would have easily broke that way too. Such a shame.

I needed a fireplace gate for my 12 month old granddaughter. We had another brand for her 5 year old brother but got rid of it two years ago. This is a working wood fireplace but haven't actually used it in years so really was buying it to keep her from getting hurt. It's super heavy metal. I struggled getting it from my front steps delivery into the house. There were no instructions which surprised me. I just clicked the two sides together first, then clicked the door in between the two panels. Putting the mounting brackets on was even easier. We are buying metal mollies to put in the walls. The cheap plastic ones that come with the gate won't withstand a toddler yanking on something this heavy. We got the black color and it blends in well. The five year old likes being able to put his small toys inside the gate so the baby can't get at them. Gives him some personal space that he can play in without a toddler bothering him when he wants and he can open it with ease and play with his sister too. We have a very small living room and we got the five panel gate. It takes up a bit more room but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. It's so strong and sturdy I know she will be safe. And, if we ever lose power in the winter and need to use the fireplace, it will keep both kids safe. Well worth the money!
