This is a 12 pc carbide tips mag drill bit kit. The drill bits range in sizes from 1/2” to 1/16” in cutting diameter. It comes with a 3/4” Weldon shank with 2 pilot pins for press cutting. They are high quality, sturdy and durable. My son said they’re easy to use and they work great. If you’re looking for a well made, affordable drill bit kit, I highly recommend this one.

These bits produce a nice, clean, round hole, unlike "regular" drill bits which don't always. I got this to upgrade my old set of annular cutters which was a 6 piece kit. This set has all the sizes I need but didn't get in my old set. The quality of the bits seems outstanding and worth the price. 5 stars.

These are designed to be used with a 3/4" Weldon bit holder. If you don't have one you really should get one to use bits like these. They are designed to be used with a magnetic base drill which is often used in bridge work. But they can be used in a drill press or knee mill. You probably can use them wita 3/4" chuck but I've never tried.I put them to the test the day they showed up. I easily cut a 13/16" hole though 1/4" steel like it was butter. The bits are open in the center so if you have a cooling system you can send fluid down the center (even with the pilot pin inside the bit. The bits fit snugly into my Weldon bit holder on my knee mill. I didn't measure runout but I couldn't see any. Over all this is a great set of smaller annular cutters. Being carbide they will last a lot longer than high speed steel ones.

I do a lot of "handy" work around my home, and occasionally I come across a need to drill a hole in a metal object. Previously I have used standard drill bits - which sometimes worked, but ALWAYS did damage to the bit. I tried these (used it to drill mounting holes in a stainless steel corner guard) - and they cut through the metal nicely, with no issues at all to the bits. The price for this type of bit can fluctuate quite a bit - and these fall somewhere closer to the higher end - which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. If they continue to hold up and show that they will last for a long time - justifying the price - I may come back and bump it up to 5 stars. Time will tell.
