Worked great on my new Browning Buck Mark 22 which had a rust prevention coating, a little cleaner spray ran the snake through, barrel clean as a whistle, tested at the range, no issues got one for my glock 19 also

These bore snakes have a life expectancy and in my opinion are a consumable in my cleaning routines. 2 $9 and they work well in addition to brushes and patch/jag.
