Easy instal, perfect sound. Cold starts and regular starts bring a loud growl but it calms down as it warms up. When you get on it you can really hear it and when cruising or accelerating there is zero drone or any annoying tones regardless of rpm’s. When cruising it’s quiet so you can have a nice conversation without having to yell over any exhaust noise.

Installed on a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L CrewCab. My vehicle has no other performance modifications.I did a lot of research before going this route. I’ve been a big fan of Borla exhausts because I’ve had them in two previous vehicles. I’ve also had one Corsa exhaust on a previous truck.This purchase was always going to be between Borla and Corsa.Even though I’ve had Borla in the past, I still did a lot of research prior to going and ultimately settling with Borla. Because I know variations from one vehicle to another, regardless of past experiences.I have ZERO regrets!Install took about 455mins from start to finish, in my driveway. I had a buddy help. We are both pretty handy and took it nice and slow to assure everything went well. I strongly recommend this route. Zero issues. Everything lines up perfectly with all hardware supplied.Installations instructions, as one would expect from Borla, are top notch!Just like ALL Borla products, quality, fit and ultimate finish is top notch!Sound is a low rumble with a deep throaty growl at WOT. At ‘normal’ driving, it’s very subtle; but evident. Step on it, and things come to life!Cold start up is [somewhat] loud for a few seconds until idle comes to normal revolutions. Then it’s just a plain sweet low, throaty rumble! Far from obnoxious. Far.Zero drone inside the cabin across the revolutions. Nothing. Just music to your ears.The only thing I modified was I had my exhaust shop cut/weld the tips so they sit back. I hate exhaust tips that stick out well beyond the bumper’s inside lip. So I had my shop trim about 2” off the pipe where the tips are and now they sit just a hair behind [inside] my rear bumper’s lip.I will post pictures soon.Highly recommend this excellent system by an incredibly reputable name in the vehicle modification spectrum. Install is straight forward & second person is highly recommended for ease of installation. Cold starts are “aggressive” as far as volume but mellow out within 2 min or less every time. Calm tone during interstate travel w/ no drone. Cold starts get neighbors attention, but once warm/kick down occurs, if it wasn’t for the beautiful throaty tone during idle, wouldn’t even know it’s aftermarket. When getting into throttle, truck definitely starts to wake up at 2500rpm & above(w/ CAI & Diablo tuner). Should have bought this a year ago.. the day I brought the truck home. Worth the $!!

I put this system on my 2018 GMC Sierra and couldn't be happier, because that factory system has no sound at all, this Borla system has no drone at all, loud when you want to be heard when steeping on it nice on the highway not annoying, it's loud when the truck is started cold but mellows to a nice rumble after a few minutes of running, definitely like it way better then the Magna Flow i had on my previous Sierra
