High quality construction and nice form factor for ease of handling. The driver is powerful but can be finessed down for light applications with the adjustable clutch and variable speed trigger. Smaller, lighter and more manageable than the comparable Milwaukee driver. This is my seventh Bosch tool, purchased over the course of almost a decade. My first 12 volt Bosch (all others 18v) but it’s still very powerful. I’ve never had a Bosch tool or battery fail, they build them to last.

This is an excellent tool to have for both work and home.Being a tech in a data centre, this has been getting a massive work out every day.Its compact, light and has excellent torque for undoing screws that seem to have been not only over-screwed in, but also welded in by some fool before me.VERY IMPORTANT NOTE to Aussie buyers, the charger will NOT work (even if you have a US/CN adapter), the charger doesnt auto switch to our power supply down under. So save some cash and just get the driver skin, then hit up a TOTALly different TOOLS place for the battery and charger. Yes the Aussie battiers and charger sold there will work in this skin - speaking from experience.

I absolutely love this drill. Small lightweight and enough power for most day to day tasks. I loved it so much I bought a second one. Holds power for a decent amount of time and charges pretty quick

needed a smaller screwdriver so that I can get the advantages of lighter smaller tools for light duty fastening and drilling and only have to use my larger 18v tools for the heavier duty workI have a Milwaukee 12v as well and this is even more compact and does what I need in most of my light duty fastening work with a smaller lighter packagebattery life is great but don't expect it to last more than half a day on the job but it comes with two anyways so you are coveredwell designed and so far it has been a go to tool

This tool is little bit smaller and Compact than my DeWalt dcf601 Brushless Screw Driver as you can see in the photo both of them I own and use alternately. This Bosch screw driver is great but it is little bit noisy than my DeWalt. For the power wise? They're both the same and they're both well Precise when it comes to driving small fasteners, for drilling?? No I do not use both of these for drilling large holes except for drilling pilot holes no bigger than 3/8 otherwise my old DeWalt brushless hammer drill is my best tool for drilling large holes and concrete drilling applications. For driving fasteners both of them can drive and sink 4-1/2" by number 10 Decking and Framing Screws, both of them can also drive and sink 5 to 6 inch Spax torx T-30 Powerlag fasteners and Timberlok 5/16 screws. For lag bolts? No you're gonna wanna to use an impact driver or impact wrench for that specific task. For lighting? It's not that bright compare to my DeWalt at least Bosch should have made the lighting little bit brighter and better on this model but still I'll give it 4.5 Star Rating for the tool being a maintenance free Brushless Motor versus it's predecessor the Bosch PS21-2A Brush 12V screw driver I used to have that tool until it's carbon brush worn out completely and the warranty is expired and replacing the brush is not good since I have to replace the entire motor that cost $45 to $50 which is not worth it doing so it's like I bought a brand new tool for the price of a carbon brush motor assembly but for this model being brushless is so great! For Runtime? I'm still working on that I'll update my review later.Update Review: 07/26/2022In comparison with my first 12V screw driver that I'm using most often the DeWalt DCF601 versus the Bosch GSR12V-300HBX is that the Bosch does not have a Spindle Lock where I can fasten the fasteners manually without over tightening it where in the DeWalt have Spindle Lock and the motor will lock and will stop rotating and that's the advantage over the other but overall I like the Bosch they're both useful Precision Driving Tools their Clutch System is Fantastic and they stop the motor from rotating giving it more control on fastening the screws. For the Runtime? I tested the DeWalt and Bosch I used 2Ah battery for both of them to make it even and fair. And the Bosch successfully drove 28 pcs of 4-3/4" long by #10 Torx T-25 Decking Screws and stopped halfway on the 29th screw while the DeWalt successfully drove 31pcs and stopped halfway on 32nd screw. For the Bosch I have to set the gear on the 1st gear because on the 2nd gear it was too fast and the tool was cutting out unless if I use a much higher amp hour battery pack the results might have change. When I conducted the test I took my own risk for breaking the tool but luckily they did not both of them handled the test pretty good, but I do not recommend using these tools being a screw driver in driving large fasteners even though they got enough power to do sink them but the hard task I put them in are way above their pay grade it only proved that both of them can do it and the fact that they're both brushless motor really made a difference compared to the brush counterparts. They're only design and meant for driving small and medium size fasteners and they can drill small pilot holes for the fasteners. Otherwise Hammer Drills both corded and cordless and Impact Drivers or Impact Wrench are the best tools for Heavy Job applications. So far Even though I'm a DeWalt fanboy I gotta admit I love this Bosch brushless 12V screw Driver!! I highly recommend this tool as an addition to the options available out there.Update Review: 11/06/2022I was wrong with my previous comment regarding this tool. And I would like to add up and say YES this tool Bosch brushless 12V Screw Driver DO HAVE a "Spindle Lock" just like the DeWalt DCF601. When you're not pressing the trigger the Spindle will locked up and you can use this tool as a regular common screw driver you can tighten up the fasteners by hand manually and that's a good thing! It's a great tool to have that can cover most of the jobs around the House. This tool is great too for Electricians and HVAC Technicians even Mechanics as well. It's a must have tool!

I use this drill mainly for electrical rewiring and repairs around the house. I love how compact and powerful this drill is. It very easy to rough-in electrical lines as this driver easily fits in between studs. I've bored. 3/4 to 1 inch holes holes straight through 2-inch hardwood studs with absolutely no problems. It does heat up very easily when boring 1 1/2 inch holes, however.Unfortunately, the chuck is wobbly just like every Bosch drill I've ever had. I own 7 Bosch drills both, 12v and 18v, and EVERY SINGLE ONE has a wobbly chuck. I'm still keeping the drill because the benifits outweigh the wobbly chuck. I've also become convinced that every bosch drill must have a wobby chuck and there must be some kind of design reason for this that I don't understand. This drill is very small and can get into some tight areas that I can't get into with my 18v drills. I value this versatility very much and I'll probably be keeping this drill. The charger included with this kit is a slow charger and it will take a while to charge spent batteries. I don't mind this because slow charging is the best way to charge lithium-ion batteries anyway. The led light is definitely more dim than the Bosch 18v drills but I can still see what I'm doing. The drill is seriously, absurdly LOUD, definitely louder than any of the Bosch 18v drills I have. Every time I use this drill I simply can't believe how loud it is.I buy Bosch products because they last and they make the best, most powerful lithium-ion batteries of any manufacturer. I've never had a Bosch drill fail. The good certainly outweighs the bad with this drill. I believe that the tradeoffs are definitely worth it. I'll continue to buy and enjoy Bosch drills.

The adapter is not as convenient as other brands. You can not directly push in to auto lock but you have to pull it backwards first, really don't know why not add push in auto lock in. Strange design given Bosch in fact have better adapter solution already in its bit locker.Do not accept double side bits as earlier. need to push the sleeve back but not forward to install bits

I am an automotive professional who does a fair share of interior trim and dash removals performing car repairs. I was on the hunt for a small, compact, cordless screwdriver to replace my older 7.2v SnapOn CTS561CL that was no longer repairable and had no replacement batteries available.I discovered that Bosch had just released in August 2020 (IIRC) this new compact brushless 12v Lithium Ion battery. I looked at the specs and this appeared to fit my needs fully. I already owned and use a Bosch PS41-2A 1/4" hex impact driver kit and it has also been a flawless and compact tool. I only needed to purchase this screwdriver as a bare tool. Bosch also sells this screwdriver in a kit with a charger and two batteriesThis tool, so far, has exceeded my expectations. It is compact, powerful, and well built. It should serve my automotive repair needs for a long time..If you are an automotive professional needing a compact, cordless screwdriver, this is the one to buy.You will not regret it
