Your cart is empty.The Bosch GWS13-50VS 5-Inch Angle Grinder delivers more power than previous-generation models with the same size tool - 13 amps and up to 11,500 rpm. The lower variable-speed setting - 2,800 rpm - allows the operator to match speed to application. For operator comfort and control, it sports a two-position Vibration Control side handle, making it less demanding to run. The grinder has constant electronics for easy starts, level operation and dependable speed under load. For user security, it an integrated acceleration sensor to limit inadvertent recoil and restart protection to protect against unintended startup. It has a burst-protection quick tool less adjustable guard and a large spindle lock for more convenient disc change. It was designed with directed air flow to divert dust from vital components, direct-motor cooling and Service Minder brushes that stop the grinder when preventative maintenance is required - which promote longer tool life.

Having the variable speed on the angle grinder is fantastic. This increases the ability to do multiple roles. I can sand wood without burning it as you would with a single speed. I also allows some finer metal work. I love this angle grinder.

I have several grinders (Makita, Dewalt, Milwaukee) of various sizes. I use this in my tile kit to trim tile and drill hole to mount grab bars. The variable speed works well and so far the grinder works very well so far.

I bought this to replace my very old angle grinder that I had rebuilt 3 times, bearing bushings cords.....Buy it once, buy it Bosch. Excellent tools. You will feel the difference when you start it up. Smooth, responsive, powerful.

The variable speed allows me to cut and polish tile correctly. Before, I used a high speed Ridgid grinder, but the polishing disks tend to break up when ran too fast. This Bosch gives you the ability to slow down the RPM speed and keep the polishing disks alive much longer.Also, it is very quiet. Like, you could almost not need hearing protection. (Although you should still use it)

Love love love this machine!The slide switch that has the ability to lock on is far superior to that stupid paddle that you have to flip the little safety lever before you can turn it on!The slide switch is easy peasy!It's beefy! When you turn it on you can tell it's serious muscle.Really slick how the shield will move around with just the tip of a lever.Can use at any angle.No worries about burning up anymore.

The variable speed is why i bought it and it works great. It is pretty heavy for extended one handed use. The switch is stiff and makes frequent on off switching cumbersome but the whole machine feels like a work horse that will last. Happy that I bought it.
