3In20TPIBIMT-ShkLaminateFlooring, PK5, Primary Saw Application Specialty, Package Quantity 5. High-carbon steel T-shank jig saw blades are made of high-carbon steel for lasting break resistance.
From the Manufacturer
The New BOSCH "Special for Laminate" jigsaw blade was specifically developed to produce clean cuts in laminate flooring, even when the laminate panel is cut "from above." The new bi-metal laminate flooring blades cut 2X faster and last 10X longer than standard high carbon steel blades, providing precise, clean cuts.

Great blades for my old jigsaw, getting through those multiple layers on a laminate countertop.Remember to use painter's tape before drawing your template! This will help avoid chips in your laminate. Our Small Spaces Reno business needs to always keep these on hand. After cutting your two long sides, SWITCH TO A NEW BLADE AT THE END. Hubby took a try at cutting and was forcing the blade, so he torqued it a bit and it was pulling. I might have made it through with one blade otherwise. LET YOUR TOOLS DO THE WORK.This project really came out great!

I prefer this blade for making fine cuts in furniture grade or tabletop grade wood. I've not used it for cutting flooring.I just need a blade to do precision cuts for tabletops, etc. This is my go to blade. No flaking of the surrounding material. It's a slow blade for this but the end result is good.

I have an awkward old house I'm installing laminate flooring in. These blades make incredible smooth and fast cuts. They don't last that long but expected with laminate flooring, which eats the blade quickly. Very accurate for difficult custom cuts.

I'd like to extend an invitation to all the hardware stores in Toronto to start carrying these (in singles or packs like this) - they're a life-saver and a wallet-saver if you're using a jigsaw on laminate flooring.. which you may or may not be :)They will cut through even the thickest laminate flooring boards (like mine) like butter for the first 5-10 board widths. After that, there is a slow decline in the smoothness and speed of cutting, as you would find with any saw blade under constant wear. I did a living room, den, foyer and hallway (roughly 500-600 sq ft) and these 5 blades did the job to the last worn out tooth (all blades were used up by the last cut). Cuts included cross- and rip-cuts on a Makita jigsaw.I would recommend glancing at your blade when it starts to get worn a bit and slow to cut - if you attempt to curve your cut when the teeth are roughly half the length they were when they were new, you will start to 'burn' the wood or laminate, and a fine smoke, dinstinctive burnt smell, and charred cut edge will result. ***This is not specific only to this blade***, it's just some warning for penny-pinching DIYers who think they can cut until the teeth are gone! Replace your blade and save time. That being said, it was either dulling 5 10" miter saws at $40 a pop and only do broad cross cuts, or a pack of these babies for $15 and do a whole floor with any cut I want. A steady hand helps too.Buy with confidence!

Come in hand with the Black & Decker LPS7000 Lithium Ion CompactSaw :-D. If you would try to cut one t-blade with another one, what would it mean if you succeed or if you fail? Is it win in both cases or fail in both?

These blades cut through 10mm laminate flooring very fast and clean. They are fairly skinny blades so if your not careful they will break, but definitely worth it. I will be stocking up on these since they don't sell them at any store by me.

Using a Bosch Progressor Jigsaw with these. I installed 35 year warranty laminate flooring, good quality and tough. I tried T101B, T101BF and T1010AO blades before these. Each of those was only good for around five board width cuts before grinding the teeth down and starting getting hard to cut. Switched to these and the difference is crazy, I easily did twenty five cuts before I had hard time pushing the saw. Last job was 15 total other "clean for wood" blades, this job in a bigger room was four blades total. I ordered two packages and now have to consider returning one since I never opened it.Also on Amazon are "T101BIF 3-Inch 14 TPI Bi-Metal T-Shank". Those are 14 Teeth Per Inch so may last a little longer. This product is the 20 TPI model with a smaller blade size that makes it easier for precise cuts and curves, but may wear down a little faster.I would strongly suggest these blades to anyone installing laminate flooring.
