I bought an assortment of blades when I bought my Bosch jigsaw ten years ago. I use this blade for rough cutting lumber. I have a table saw, radial arm saw, bandsaw, skill saw and scroll saw but for rough cutting this is my go to blade. Working alone I need to make lumber manageable so that's what I use the jig saw for. I find it safer than using a skill saw. The only other jig saw blade I'd use is one for metal with fine teeth and little set.

I have to cut 5/8th thick Melamine MDF boards for my cottage industry business. I have tried many blades and different TPI (teeth per inch)... and after trying several brands and several types I finally had this one blade left in my multi package of different blades by BOSCH... and BINGO...this was the best blade by far. I am a senior citizen, female and do not have the strength to push my hand held jigsaw and I really needed a blade that would do the work and glide through the wood with ease and this blade did it with no effort whatsoever....and that it was the cleanest cut was an added bonus. My saw glided through the dense MDF like I was cutting through butter....I am soooo happy and what makes me even more delighted is that I thought I had bought 1 package of 5 blades for the price of $10.99 (which would have been about the equivalent cost of blades at Lowes) but instead received 5 packages of blades (totalling 25 blades!) Not sure if it was a mistake and I was ready to try to return the other 4 packages as I like to always be fair and honest but when I scrolled down to read additional information, the description said 1 piece was $2.20 so I guess that the actual price....wow what a deal...sooo delighted with the product's performance and price!!!

Purchased my 1st jigsaw to make a 2cu sub box and botched almost every cross cut because of my learning curve with the cheap saw, but also because I didn't know what blade was appropriate. After trial and error and tests with a few other brands vs Bosch, Bosch came out the winner for ease of cut and edge retention. Found this blade on accident while reading an article and can firmly say this will remain my go to blade for clean MDF and plywood rips and probably extend to less detailed scrolling work.

I'm using these in a Rockwell Bladerunner x2 and they are working out great. Throw away the blades you got with the x2 and buy a package of these.

The 5/8" stranded bamboo flooring I used this with is beyond the hardest hardwood at ~4500 Janka (I had lots of trouble with staples bouncing off the wood when installing). These cut faster (but not fast), and with less effort than other blades, with nice clean edges.. on my cheap skill jig saw! Turned it into a new tool. Even handled the bamboo along with subfloor no problem when I had to trim out some HVAC vent work. no cheap made in china junk here- I could loose myself while looking at the design of how the blades are cut.. good work Bosch!

These blades are great. I put them through the paces right away by clamping two 1/2" pine boards together and attempted to cut a fine line through both simultaneously and these blades held up fine and made a nice curved cut. Nice improvement over the blades that came with my PORTER-CABLE PC600JS 6 Amp Orbital Jig Saw. The fit perfect and worked great.

These blades are probably the best I've ever used. I recently purchased a Dewalt 18v jig saw from Amazon, and the Dewalt assorted set of blades to go with it. I thought they did an O.K. job - but only O.K.; and I thought they weren't up to the overall capabilities of the saw itself. Looking around I found that some one else with the same jig saw recommended these blades. I sure and glad I got them! They cut fast, true and accurate. They give an almost "sanded" finish to the kerf and need very little surface clean up.

I bought these as the jig saw blades I was using kept braking - sometimes after just an hour of use & could only be used on light work projects. These blades are great. I used them to cut lumber, many many tree branches up to 2-1/2 inches thick, hard plastic, but have not tried any scroll work. When I have a small job I use these instead of getting out the power saw, as they can cut so reliably that I am still on my first batch of 5. Still using the first blade which I bought 5 months ago. I am a weekend warrior, so it does not get daily use. They were so good that I bought a 2nd batch of 5, as I was worried that amazon might not offer these and I would have to pay double at the local hardware store, if I could find them. I am attaching a picture, so you can see what it looks like when new.

They do cut fairly clean but not so much on the scroll cuts. If you want cut something fast, however, these are an awesome deal at the clearance pricing I found them for. If Bosch labels it "clean" that's what you use when you don't want to do a lot of sanding afterwards. If it's labeled "progressor" it's for making two pieces where there was once only one ASAP.There's a lot of positive talk about the new Xtra Clean T308B blades out there. I'll be reviewing them when my first set comes in. It's hard to find customer reviews though. People tend to stick to what they know, I suspect.
