After a while, the noise of tape being pulled off a hand dispenser gets to you and water-activated tape can be messy. I ship ~ 1000 large boxes/year. This is faster, quieter, and it gives our products a more professional look. Depending on your situation, you may want to consider a battery-operated model.

Bought for work to replace one we had for quite a while, dropping it a few times never helps. New gun works great with no hiccups.

What a piece of junk!! ds-3522 Bostitch- I bought one of these a couple of years back to replace my previous version of this stick stapler. This is a pitifully made stapler that started leaking after the first month. No longer made in the USA Bostitch now makes these overseas and they do not compare to the old models. Don't waste your money. Go buy one at Harbor Freight; it's the same quality.

Worked fine for about 4 months then started misfiring staples and tear the box flaps. We use ours pretty regular and maintain the equipment but this stapler looks nice but just doesn't perform like a name brand should. I think a person could find a better box stapler.
