Please do not purchase this heap of plastic & glue; not only did it take them weeks to exchange it once it stopped working(And their troubleshooting consisted of asking me whether it's connected to a power source), the replacement unit stopped working in the EXACT same manner.I have $70 worth of groceries in this thing, getting ready to go on a trip, and bow have to buy 20lb of ice.Thanks for nothing BougeRV.

Fits great under the retractable tonneau (ReTrax Pro XR) of my Tacoma. Ample room and quick to cool. Ice cream compartment is a godsend after kids soccer practices.

Aspen 40 41L 43QT Half Full, experienced issues with the control panel. Setting temperature to 35*F on controller panel S, after a few hrs inside the fridge compartment it was ranging from 40*F-65*F, yet Controller panel was reporting 35F*. Dropped down the temperature on controller panel L to -4*F After a few hrs inside the fridge was 10*F, controller panel reported 9*F. I used a separate Digital and also a glass mechanical thermometer to get internal readings to verify the controller panel readings reported. Also was unable to switch from F* to C* following manual. Contacted Amazon for a replacement, they would only offer a return for refund. Directed me to contact the manufacturer through Amazon. Contacted the Manufacturer, followed some instructions, reported back, yet they failed to give me a resolution. I was stuck with a malfunctioning unit. Contacted Amazon again and accepted a Return for refund. Extremely disappointed with the Manufacturer customer service and warranty process.The only way I was able to get the fridge to hold a 35*F internal temperature was to set the temperature on controller panel S to 24*F. Even at this setting the temperature isolated +5-7*F above setting. Defective.Besides these issues, the overall quality of the materials used appeared to be excellent. I might have received a non calibrated unit or defective controller panel/sensor. Compressor and fan were quiet when on and barely noticeable. Wish it had worked for me.Will try another fridge.

The cooler works awesome. Seems to be quiet enough and efficient enough, but sometimes it rattles a little bit when it starts up. I am super stoked that now I have a real freezer in my RV my propane fridge just doesn’t get cold enough. So now I can have my favorite Daly ice cream anywhere in my RV can go and have ice for my cocktails.

We just received our new Bouge RV 40 liter Aspen with ICE unit. It came perfect in the box. After unboxing and plugging in, it works perfectly. We had an older unit and this is a major upgrade. The dual zone with either zone being a refrigerator or freezer is a big improvement. Also the food baskets fit much better and are much easier to use. Overall a great unit.I would also like to mention BougeRV's customer service. We have ordered through Amazon and they have a dedicated customer service number for Amazon customers, service@bougerv.com. Maya is the person answering the inquiries and she is fantastic. She always returns emails within 24 hours and has solid troubleshooting skills. They replaced one of our units with absolutely no issue.BougeRV has my highest recommendation for quality of product and customer service after the sale.

The Aspen30 fridge has outperformed my needs and expectations. Full of drinks and food - it only uses 30 watts when the compressor is running, so only 30 watts every 15 or 20 minutes on Eco mode. Less at night, a bit more in the warm afternoon hours. In ICE mode, the watts go up to 50 or 60, depending on the day. With a single 130-watt solar panel it ran fine (and battery backup for overnight).Everything stayed uniformly cold, and the whole experience was much more like the convenience of being at home; no melting water to deal with, no frozen wet hands digging in day-old ice.Paired with the Flash300 solar power station, which charges super fast - it will make my camping much more enjoyable.I needed this years ago - but I'm glad I waited for the Aspen series. Being able to take frozen yogurt or other frozen foods is a real treat after a long hike.
