Smooth accurate. Used for a throttle on electric scooter that is actuated by a cabled throttle. Easy to solder and mount.

Both potentiometers failed shortly after supplying voltage from an arduino. Not sure if it's bad quality control on the potentiometer or the pins are susceptible to cracking and breaking while moving soldered wires around

I like these sliders... almost. They measure accurately and have an undocumented "Feature" that says "LED". That's all it says. I haven't been able to locate any documentation on this fourth pin. I tried several possible wiring scenarios but none worked. Maybe I will hear an answer from the vendor... or maybe not.The big problem with these sliders is that they have only one mounting hole and no obvious way to mount them securely. I used a 3mm bolt with a 3.5mm hole but drilling the hole made a mess of the connections that I am still sorting out.Sliders need to be mounted securely so they don't "slide around". The lack of an easy way to mount them cost them three stars.
