I can't speak to the long term reliability, yet. The bypass valve arrived today, and replaces a 20-ish year old OEM valve that crumbled in my hands while replacing the vacuum lines attached to it. That being said, the plastic of this replacement valve feels like new OEM plastic that could last another 20 years. It installed like the OEM, to the location it was supposed to go. The vacuum lines attached like they were supposed to, without excessive slack, or pressure, and the OEM pigtail connected the way it was supposed to. You can't expect much more form a stock replacement product than that, especially at around half the OEM part.
