Junk... Latch to bring up the shaft did not work. In the photo on Amazon there is a spring mechanism. It does not exist on the item I received. That could be my problem. Anyhow... Just feels and looks poorly made. Comes by itself, no bag, no label, no instructions, no C/S or anything.Follow-up comment - I found the MinnKota bracket on line at Lakeside Marine & Service. The difference in quality is night and day. The much larger lever works easily to bring up the bracket in shallow water.

One of the ears broke off during the first use of this product. Making it unusable, it is plastic. I would definitely not recommend this product nor buy another one. The 5 stars are so that it gets more attention. This product is subpar quality and very much lacking in value .

It came with no instructions, I had to disassemble the trolling motor in order to put it in the bracket. The pace that holds the trolling motor to the bracket, does not open up. Had to take the shaft apart in order to put it in the bracket.

I ordered this just to use for a Rutter set up in back of my jon boat. The hinge mechanism was very tight and not smooth tilting. One of my wing handles was broken upon arrival, but I glued it back to make it work for what I needed Would I use this for a trolling motor setup....NO. Would I recommend this item, if it is something like I am doing yes but nothing with weight to it.

Not easy. But if you have a few patience this will make the BEST transducer mount for about $60. After reading all of the reviews I bought one. Best move. LOOKS AWESOME. Yes I did tare it apart and rebuild it. But kept looking for a transducer mount and they were all junk.
