Plastic clip that holds in place are not very strong. I would only try this on very low power motors. I used it on an 80 lb thrust trolling motor and it jumped out of place in almost instanty.

The first time it came broken. No packaging, just put in a box. The second time it was the same packaging. Just lucky it wasn't broken. The quality is poor. It doesn't work correctly. But not worth taking a chance for the third time. Do not buy this product

Sharp abs plastic. And it was warped so it didn't work as described.

Like others have said it comes misaligned and requires adjustment. I could not adjust it past one notch, but I did wedge some wood in the opening and took a heat gun to make the gap bigger. Once it cooled it worked fine.

I did not want to take the trolling motor apart to mount it, and this mount requires that you do that. I had to return this product.

It works, but I surmise that if I look at it wrong, it will snap in two. Like everything else... you get what you pay for.

The unit was not functional had to heat up and set aside with wood spreading apart and bending out side of mount to even get to use it

The warpage makes raising and lowering the motor very difficult. Hopefully it will wear in after time.
