BeepEgg - The singing floating egg timer
Too hard, too soft – but never on point. A perfect boiled egg is a science in itself. Dead easy for BeepEgg, though. Simply store it with the eggs, boil it with the eggs and wait until BeepEgg sings.
Three tunes for three levels of egg doneness
Once yolk and egg-white have reached the desired degree of hardness, BeepEgg will play a tune. Each edition plays three melodies, each being signal for one level of hardness. These three different tunes will each be repeated several times to meet the egg sizes as well as personal fine tuning possibilities.
How does BeepEgg work?
BeepEgg constantly measures the outer temperature. With this data it calculates the core temperature of the egg. BeepEgg knows at which temperature each stage is perfect. Once the egg has reached the desired stage, BeepEgg will play a melody.
BeepEgg works at all altitudes and under all conditions. You can use it during diving excursions (you’ll need a submarine, though) as well as on the Himalaya or at sea level. Boil one egg or twenty at a time, start with cold or boiling water. BeepEgg is always on point.

¡Si funciona! Evidentemente estos amigos desarrollaron el algoritmo que resuelve la ecuación de tiempo y temperatura para llevar los huevos cocidos exactamente al punto que quieres. No hay muchas opciones: con el centro líquido (casi crudo, aquí no hay ayuda), yema líquida, yema cuajada o bien cocido. El gadget te dice el momento para sacar los huevos del agua hirviendo. Elige bien los temas que tocará para que no se te olvide cual es cual punto de cocción. Parece mentira, pero tres opciones ya puede ser confuso.Por supuesto, no tiene un volumen de antro. Así que deberás quedarte cerca mientras se cocinan los huevos y estar atento para escuchar. Al fin, es una cajita de música y el volumen es bajo. Quizás no esté muy claro en las instrucciones, pero inicia con un "pip", como para indicar que el gadget está funcionando. En su momento viene la primer melodía, para indicar que la clara ya está cocida, pero la yema todavía líquida. Me parece que suena dos veces. Un poco más tarde sonará la segunda melodía: yema cuajada, pero tierna todavía. Supongo que también sonará la misma melodía una segunda vez. Al final sonará la tercera melodía, para indicar que el huevo ya está completamente cocido. A partir de aquí la utilidad del gadget es sobre todo para ahorrar energía y no seguir con la cocción cuando ya no hay nada más que cocer.Por cierto, este es un obsequio ideal para el que "lo tiene todo". Supongo... Per yo me lo tuve que comprar.

I had one before, but I lost it ..So I had to get another as I am lost with out it . I also got one as a gift for my friend who said she can never get her eggs done just right. I will be buying more as gifts too !!!

Now I get perfect soft boiled eggs ever. The chicken sings a song and your soft boiled eggs are done. Perfect eggs .I bought a few to give to my friends they love it !
