When I first got a bike with disk breaks I didn't have any issues with them. The bike came with backup, replacement pads and those worked great as well. After I decided to buy the cheaper pads and not only did they not have stopping power, but we're very loud, worse when wet. I went through so many brands since then with same results regarding the noise. These finally, dry or wet, don't make any loud noises when I stop. These are my new go to pads. I hate hearing that sound when I stop.

Quick and easy install. Had the wheels and pads off/on in about 5 minutes and NO MORE NOISE on our Rip Racer. Not sure on longevity but so far so good.

The pads seem fine. The listing said there were two springs, but there were none. There were five cotter pins, but they were about 2mm too short. It makes me wonder if these are genuine Shimano parts.UPDATE - I texted the supplier and they assured me the products are genuine Shimano that they buy in bulk and repackage. They gave me a partial refund for the missing springs. I have installed two of the pads on my electric bike and they are working fine. Good response and satisfactory conclusion, so I've added a star.

Authentic Shimano brand brake pads mated perfectly with factory Shimano brakes. Install was not too challenging after watching a couple instructional videos on line. These pads offer adequate smooth (no vibration) braking and proper function. They don't have a ton of bite and they wear out in 1200 miles. Believe I could get after market pads cheaper with better bite or longevity but didn't want to mess around with risking bad fit or function from off-brands. The size/design are critical, one that is even slightly different will not work. If you have any doubts remove your old pads first to evaluate correct replacement part before buying.
