I though these brass ferrules can be used on compressed fittings. They cannot. The length of the unit is much longer than regular ferrule so that the nut’s threads cannot engage with the valve body. Whatever this product is for it is not for compression fittings in plumbing. On the photo regular size ferrule for comparison.
