I bought a used ceiling light with fan. I thought it wouldwork on my vaulted ceiling but the pitch of the ceiling was too great so I had to either buy another fan or look on Amazon for a solution and I found this, and it worked perfectly.

Color on these were perfect. However, like others I could not get my wires through no matter how hard I tried. The gap was just too small for both the white and black wire. I ended up finding a different set with a similar design but where the wires could pass through.

I thought that "M12" would be the standard size that would fit an American light fixture. My local hardware store has tons of adapters of various sorts that fit my light, alas they do not have any swivel adapters. Everything they had was the same size - and the same size as my light. This lead me to believe the thread size would be some sort of standard, and that I could pick and choose the item that would look the least intrusive on my ceiling.Look at the specifications carefully before purchasing this item to avoid disappointment.

Super stiff and barely moves. The twisting portion at the bottom doesn't twist even with a wrench. The hole for the wires is tiny! I measured and knew it would be tight, and barely got the wires to fit.But since the wires are so tight and the ring doesn't spin it's impossible for me to screw this in without twisting all the wires. And then I would have to figure out how to spin the entire light at a weird angle when screwing this into the ceiling.I think all the options on Amazon are like this. I am searching for one in the real world now.

I Purchased this to hang a chandelier on my slanted ceiling. However, I had to have the lamp rewired, because the whole in the adapter is very small. My only caution would say, check your wire size before purchasing.I am giving it a three due to the challenge of wires fitting.
