Thermometer is generally OK, but selecting the age is clumsy. First of all, it is done by a second button (two buttons for a simple thermometer!) on the edge (not the big, round one visible in the photo) which is harder to press. Secondly, it must be pressed quickly while the matching age group is being displayed on the screen (there are three age groups, all of them shown rather quickly in a loop, and you have to hit the right one). Thirdly, the age group is being shown without the light illumination as in the photo, so it is harder to see, especially in low light (or night) conditions.So, it's not a big problem if you want to measure the temperature for your child, but it is not convenient if you measure it for yourself, maybe with lights out, maybe in night, maybe you being old.
