Each of the items appears to be well-made and the current retail price is definitely justifiable, considering comparable listings do not offer a set as complete.In conclusion; this bread basket set would make a perfect gift for any bread loving friend or loved one and for yourself as well. I had a bread warmer basket. It wasn’t this big. Nor did it have a liner, cover, bread bag, and additional disk for brown sugar (or to help keep bread fresh). Mine just had the oval basket and disk. This is much nicer.I decided to see how long bread would stay warm. First, I rinsed the ceramic disk well. Then, I put the disk in the oven at 375 for 20 minutes. (Instructions said 350-400 for 15-30 minutes.). I put it in the basket and covered it. After 15 minutes, the disk was still too hot to leave your finger on. At half an hour, I could keep my finger on the disk, but it was still hot. Still fairly warm at 45 minutes. I gave up after an hour…the ceramic disk was still warm!This basket is for keeping bread warm. I’m thinking it could also be used to keep tortillas warm. Or maybe tortilla chips, so they’re warm like at a restaurant. Popcorn could stay warm, too, but I’d probably put a greaseproof liner around it. I’m wondering if it could be used to proof bread dough, since with the cover, it’d be a warm, draft-free space. I’m not sure the warmth lasts long enough for yogurt making, as I’ve never done that. I think this a very useful tool for the price. Let your imagination run wild, and you’ll probably come up with more things you’d like to keep warm.

This is a great set. The basket is well made and is very attractive. I love the warming stone. It stays warm for at least an hour and really keeps your bread warm. I'm impressed There's also a small sugar-saver stone. I haven't used it yet but I have one already and it works well. I use it in my brown sugar. It also comes with a bread bag. It smells a little so be sure to wash it before you use it. The only negative is the cover. It's a bit small and difficult to get on and off. Not very practical if you're using it at dinner and you want to keep the basket covered but people need to take off the cover to get bread. But don't let this stop you from getting this. It's really wonderful!

If you love warm bread/rolls, tortillas, or tortilla chips, this is the way to go. I have used this for all, including taco nigh meaning, I can keep soft and hard taco shells nice and warm. Chips and salsa another great way to keep chips warm, I love a warm chip with my salsa. It comes with complete directions on how long you leave the terra cotta plate in the oven and also comes with a medallion to keep sugar or bread fresh. If you use this for dry items, its super easy to keep clean and it's a good size it works great and it is functional for my needs!

This is one of the finest quality baskets I have every bought. The quality in everything you get is just TOP NOTCH! I am going to keep it but it would make a GREAT GREAT GIFT... especially with a warm loaf of freshly baked bread! I love baking and love being able to serve bread, rolls, muffins or any baked goods in it!The handmade quality is evident along with the canvas cover and the warming stone. It is just the right size for an average size of bread or even a big loaf. It is very easy to warm the stone simply place it in the oven heated to 350°F-400°F for 15-30 minutes. You can easily clean the stone by using a mild detergent and simply wiping it off.The basket and everything included is EXCELLENT QUALITY and a great value at only $50. I love mine and I think you will love yours too! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This large bread basket is really nice. It comes with a linen liner and a linen cover. It has a nice lace boarder that makes it look attractive. The stone to keep the bread warm is great. I have some smaller warming stones, but this one is a great size for keeping the whole loaf warm. It also comes with what they call a bread/sugar "saving stone”. I have one of these and this is a piece of a clay like substance that you soak in water and put it in a container with brown sugar (you don’t put it in soaking wet, you pat it dry) to keep the sugar fresh and soft. It works great. They do include instructions for this stone and they say you can use it with the bread too, to keep it fresh and to absorb moisture. I have not used it for this. It comes with a linen bread bag which is nice (although I prefer beeswax bags) and could be used to store other food items.
